Lamannia is now open for our 2nd round!

We plan for Lamannia to be online over the weekend, starting today (once we finish the final checks we need to do to open the server up) and ending Monday morning around 10am Eastern (GMT-5)

In addition to this, there will be several Dev events held between tonight and tomorrow! The times for these are as follows:

Friday, December 4th, 8pm to 11pm
Saturday, December 5th, 11am to 2pm

This will be the update of the year! I've not been this excited for an update since MotU :)

Also, wanted to say I'm glad of the decision to keep it up during the weekend. I know a lot of players were a frustrated during the first build because it was up in the middle of the week and only for two days. See yall at the dev events!

Character copy was working last week, but i found if i tried to copy items from one toon to another and copy the second toon it would fail until i removed the "duplicate" items, maybe some items get flagged as "backed up" and do not allow another copy to be made which i suppose might be part of a dupe cheat reduction scan?

This is working as intended. You can't send two copies of the same item to Lamannia. So, if character A has item X, you transfer character A to Lamannia, you cannot then send item X to character B and transfer character B.

The other main source of failing on character copy is the length of time since a character was last logged into. To prevent this, we recommend logging into the character on Live, then logging out, prior to copying the character over.

Thank you Cordovan for the confirmation on this, it might help a few folk out with copy fails if they now do not try to sneak copies of items from one toon to another :-)

I'm getting the prompt to login and when i do i get the hourglass for a few seconds and dumped back to desktop, anyone else able to get in?


20 mins and only one other person has the same problem? I rebooted and changed settings to keep launcher open, after the choose world screen (only Lamma in list of course) the green play button is selected and window closes the launcher windows then displays message of "Dungeons and Dragons is already running please close it to continue" there are no other instances of DDO running and this is from a fresh reboot.

I have same situation. After I type my login/password and hit connect, luncher is closed and a game is not starting.

First lamania build work perfect for me.

The chest drop rate in those quests were so low that they actually went into negative percentages, and sucked the quests into the end chest.

(And actually, the entire pack is missing. Tavern Brawl and the planescaller in Hall of Heroes is missing too)

Are the Master of feats supposed to be working now? My 15/5 FvS/Cleric in Exalted Angel does the same damage with his cleric Searing Light and his FvS Searing Light, though the log shows one at CL 11 and the other at CL 21. This also makes it look like Intense Faith and Zealous Faith are not working.

Already reported, but here it is as well:

Master of Light is not working properly for my Searing Light as a 15/5 FvS/Cleric. My FvS version of the spell, running in maxed EA, casts at a logged CL of 24 and should cast at MCL 23 (10 base + 10 MoL + 3 Zealous Faith). With 209 light spell power, the damage should be

5-8 x 11 (for every 2 levels) x 3.09= 169.95 - 271.92

If it is not working, MCL=13 (10 base + 3 ZF), so damage would be 5-8 x 6 x 3.09 = 92.7 - 148.32

Actual Results in Dojo = 105, 111, 111, 92, 102

When I swapped MoL for great dexterity and tried again

Actual Results in Dojo = 222 (crit, so 111), 92, 114, 101, 92

So, the results are the same for logged CL of 24 with and without MoL, and both in the range of what it is with MCL of 13, not the 23 it should be.

I feel the need to reiterate my concerns regarding the feats since, if anything, you have made them worse with feedback, not better.
I am coming from an assassin's perspective here on my feedback as I almost exclusively play assassins.

Level 30, non legendary feats: I am still only seeing 1 feat here and it is a caster 1, greater ruin. Does anyone who a) isn't a caster or b) doesn't feel the need for a second ruin feat taken get anything here? I know you can take the lower level ones still but there's nothing more I really want from lower levels that doesn't have prereq feats to go along with it. Can we get some more lvl 30 feats here please??????? For everyone, not just most people too please.

the ED feats: The best of the 3 lots of feats but I'm still not that impressed with the options, honestly the best option could very well be toughness, and then take epic toughness at lvl 30 since there are no options there anyway. Otherwise dreamscape but I get the impression that it is going to be a massive pain, just like audience with the Queen. Although the problem with dreamscape is half of its benefits are mostly junk and the other half you need up all the time to be useful. Just like with the level 30 epic feats, there's no choice worth taking here, but at least there are choices. It's cool if your into that thing but I just find them a waste of time.

Legendary feats: Right well where to start?
Fire/Water/Air/Earth/Feywild/Shadowfell/Mechanus/Elysium nothing for me and that is fine.

Limbo: one of those abilities where you're always going to have the wrong buff at the wrong time, at least most of the abilities are of use in it. Not for me and that's fine.

Celestia: Will saves and healing with some more HP, all useful stuff but not what you want/expect from a legendary feat. Lets face it the main attraction for that is the crit damage and an Assassin will very rarely utilise that. Not for an Assassin really.

Leaves us with 3:

Astral: Reflex save is already excessively high and useless over 100 for defensive roll, the dodge is useless without mdb. +4 to assassinate DC is now shoehorning anyone who wants to assassinate into this feat. 4% doublestrike, the consolation prize for being an assassin....? Ok I guess I can go dump a ton of reflex saves from gear or something to make the reflex here useful.

Arborea: Fort saves are good. Enhancement bonus is good. +20 USP, more heals, not bad, could be better but considering all the other feats I'd take 5 and call myself lucky.+20 MP/RP, its good, nothing more to say. The only feat where all of the options are useful and good, but again if I want to assassinate anything without being a completionst and epic completionst taking completionist feat, twisting in 5 dex, running store pots, tensers, yugo pots, +7 tomes and top gear I have to take Astral (Ok maybe I don't need all of that but I need at more than half of it.)

Ethereal: perma blur, well can we make this stack with the other 2 sources of perma blur im already running and the blur spell that I often get cast on me or the blur wands I loot all the time? If you don't have perma blur by this level, I hate to say it but your doing it wrong. Invisibility guard, ok this isn't just a its not useful, this is a downright negative on the feat, it would be a better feat if you took this off and left it as is than it is now. +4 to skills, well I know my dex assassin has enough of every skill to nofail everything so this is kinda very extremely pointless, except for +1 damage from the final ability. +1 SA dmg/3 hide points. A really cool mechanic idea, although the damage was good or too low at 1 per 2 hide ranks, now its just low. Assuming a middling hide score of 130 at level 30 is 43*2.5 (100 MP) is 108ish. Strictly inferior to Arborea's MP boost and Arborea actually comes with other useful abilities too. IMO this should be able to get to higher damage than Arborea because a) its SA damage and b) it requires investment for your return, unlike Arborea. But even if it added mroe damage than arborea its still not as good and I still couldn't take arobrea anyway because I play an assassin, I want to assassinate, to do which I must take Astral.

I would strongly advise not to put assassinate DC in these feats at all, it is such a rare commodity that anywhere it crops up basically becomes a must have and thats not good for these feats IMO, but if you are leaving it in these feats at least put it on a useful feat please. If you do remove it from here though it should be added back in somewhere.

Basically:
-Add level 30 epic feats for everyone, not just people who want 2x ruin.
-Add ED feats for every one to use.
-Add Legendary feats for everyone to use/rework the ones that are currently existing to not shoehorn people into certain ones that are junk.
I feel totally left out in the cold with these feats and as it stands, I really do think for the ED and level 30 epic feat that toughness and epic toughness are the best choices which is downright sad.

The same could be said of DC for DC casters.
