I'm currently an Arti/Rogue lvl 23 mechanic with:
slot 1 at level 3 with Critical Damage - does it stack with seeker from items and other crit stuff?
slot 2 at level 1 with Technician for +6 disable device - this puts my DD at 68 with GH - if I drop this will it make me gimp at epic trapping? Would 62 be too low for a level 23 character or do I need that extra 6?
slot 3 at level 1 with Cocoon - Keeping this one
I have 4 fate points left to spend - enough to upgrade any one of the slots but I'm not sure what to do.
What are your opinions about the best twists of fate and what would be a good suggestion to upgrade a slot to - make slot one lvl 4 or take a lvl 1 slot up to 2?

1 - yep, enhancements stack with items
2 - it's still a d20 roll on top of whatever your skill score is, so you might need some extra rolls but can typically manage without it, unless you're going for mid to high level epics on epic elite where it might be troublesome. Also, i'm assuming you have decent umd too so can always use GH scrolls to bump it up higher if you aren't already. Oh, andthe skill score on the sheet doesn't include the bonus from +5 tools so you actually have more than you think already. The extra search skill is actually the more important part for trapping in top level epics in my experience.
3 - cocoon rocks :)
As for what to do with them.. well, my own 18rogue/2arty dude typically uses otto's whistler, pin & cocoon as his twists while running in pretty much all destinies except shiradi itself, the crowd control is nice & pin makes them helpless for the damage boost - fury of the wild is fun to run in, hit an enemy with pin 1st for that debuff then follow up with an adrenaline-boosted standard shot & you can end many arguments in a hurry. Since those are only tier 3, 2 & 1 abilities, that makes it far easier to have the extra fate points for the 4th twist slot that will be coming for top-level characters in u29 :)

On a slot level 3 I would rather go for Grim Precission (Shadowdancer) rather than critical damage being rogue
About enhancing I would go for slot 1 level 4, then either get Sense Weakness (Fury of the Wild) or Piercing Clarity (Granmaster of flowers)

68 is low. Good enough if you run normal, if you want to be able to do all traps on elite then you need a base just over 100.

I'm fairly sure that's an exaggeration. On my previous life my disable device (when fully buffed) was generally somewhere in the mid 80s (I think), and I generally the only time I failed to get the box was on a 1 (or sometimes a 2). That's not to say some traps didn't have a higher DC, but I find it very unlikely that 105+ disable device scores (factoring in +5 tools) are the minimum needed for current EE quests

I am not talking about what you see on your character sheet, to be clear on that. I am talking about the number you see in your combat log when you make a disable device roll. There are traps where you will blow boxes on DD rolls lower than 102.

That may well be the case, I'm still working my back up to cap after TR'ing recently, so I can't check any traps in high epic level content right now.
However, I'd be interested in seeing some actual data to back up your statement.

No, he's not being exaggerated, but this only applies to EE on quests 30+ (Necro 4 Epic), on those with around 100 search you won't even find the boxes, thus making irrelevant your disable skill :D

And remember that's with a d20 die roll. And you'll be getting +10 to both search and DD from epic levels. That said this is spot on here. With search you either find it or you don't making spotting them much more difficult than actually disabling them. On Disable you have some wiggle room. Also remember your action boosts.

You can certainly find traps in EE Haunted Halls with a score below 100.

The dc's are set accordingly. Spot dc's especially tend to be much lower than the others. You can also blow up the box if your disable score is too low.

Some advice on disarming traps...

The 2nd Level Divine Spell Find Traps can be purchased from the Vendor in the Marketplace. The scroll only adds +1 to search for non-artificer Trappers. 4 levels of Arti will get you a +2 bonus and 10 levels will get you a +3 bonus to search. This bonus stacks with all other search bonuses.
Intelligence Skill Bonus items. Attribute Skill Bonus items add to your skills. I recommend trying to get an Int and Dex skill item to cover you. Belts like Skullduggery Kit in Mirror Darkly come with both, but you can also craft greensteel items.
I also recommend getting the Helping Hand from the artificer challenges as it also has the skills.
I think you are a bit low especially for an Arti/Rog combo, but I'm wondering if it has to do with gear. If you list out what is currently making up your 68 Disable Device we might be able to recommend some options to help boost it. As one that deals with traps one of the biggest boosts I've had is learning to use switchable gear.

Also one of the few times those alchemical pots you get for collectibles in house d can be useful.

Just realized with GH and MY SWAPPABLE +15 DD I am up to 86 DD - I'm such an idiot I forgot I made my gloves swappable for Nether Grasps for the Seeker +8. I was runing with the Gloves of forgotten craft so long I was not used to swapping for DD. Glad you guys had me check my gear. Thanks for all the great input!

Repurpose the one you have critical damage slotted in, a few extra seeker is (IMO) not worth a twist, the Pin suggestion is a great one.

The Tinker's goggles has a stacking bonus of +5 disable device so see if you can use those in your DD setup.
Eventually you will want the Manual of STealthy pilf as your DD swap and the Tinker's will add 5 more

Ah, that does sound much better. Like others said, 62 is pretty low for epic. The 100-plus might be needed in a few places, but you can get fairly far with an 86.

Divine Crusader - I just maxed it out and now moved to Exalted Angel. I just need to max out all my destinies. I have 4 left now but I am really not getting much benefit from these last destinies.
I am INT based - Dwarf just for the hell of it. Was sick of being human every life and decided I will start playing random races. I was expecting to TR at 20 but decided to start getting some Epic lives in between heroic.
