I can't belive the prices. The starter pack was a $1.50!!!
My alts are happy. The Starter Pack will turn the FTP account to premium and add 2 charecter slots for a total 4. When I apply the Shadowfell pack I will then have a grand total of 7 charecter slots on each acccount. The Turbine points that come with packs will let me get Gianthold and some other packs as well.
I'm still in shock. I'm sure the sugar rush will wear off soon and I will crash : ) )

You should have shown Quantity 1 in your screenshot...
I looked at the prices and thought, "Those don't look cheap at all".
I had to read down a bit, then go back up before I figured out that you were buying TWELVE starter packs for $18.00
What do you get with the starter pack anyway? My kid has a FTP account. Maybe I'll upgrade it for him... He still likes playing now and then.

These codes can only upgrade accounts; you can't apply them to accounts that already have them. So if you have Shadowfell Standard + MotU Standard right now, you could upgrade to Shadowfell Collector's, but that's it.

Full text below, but IMO the cleric hireling is an extremely useful tool. Works as a gold seal so you can summon it anywhere (in a quest). Otherwise the value of 250 TP and some xp pots should be obvious (that is to say directly or almost directly comparable in terms of dollar cost if you paid for the TP equivalent), so at $1.50, well, I think I paid 5 or 7 the last time it was on sale. $1.50 is less than a can of red bull. Quite a deal.
Catacombs Adventure Pack
Friar Renau's niece, Marguerite, has disappeared inside the Catacombs. As even more go missing, the Archbishop of the Silver Flame enlists your aid to find out why. Journey through 8 adventures as you purge the crypts of insidious undead in this level 3-4 quest series!
Fiendish Scorpion Pet
(Bound to Character, 1 per DDO game world)
This devilish desert dweller is occasionally found in the Sands of Menechtarun. Comes with four tricks already trained.
Permanent Cleric Hireling
(Bound to Account, 1 per DDO game world)
Every new adventurer can use a hand! Enhance your journey with Elieri Thistledown, a Level 3 Hireling. Elieri’s spells can cure wounds, remove paralysis, and much more. Can be used by characters level 3 or higher.
5 Excellent Experience Elixirs
(Bound to Character, 1 per DDO game world)
Consuming this elixir grants your character a +30% bonus on all earned experience for the next 3 hours that you are logged in and in a quest.
250 Turbine Points
Enhance your adventure with 250 Turbine Points. Buy additional quests, cosmetic pets, experience boosts, buffs, and more.

Anyone can use the code(s) at https://myaccount.turbine.com/index.php
For example, I can send a tell with the code and that person can use it on their account. Or from an email. Maybe I make them geocache and find a scrap of paper with code (neighbor's kid likes to geocache).
I've saved them (codes) in the past and have used one over a year old.
You can make alts for dual boxing/multiple boxing, so they can enter the same quests.

Power Evidence Trinket
Give your characters a boost with the Power Evidence trinket. Granting +1 STR, DEX, and CON, this trinket is a must for any melee class.
500 Turbine Points

I've never tried this. That Dungeons & Dragons Online™: Shadowfell Conspiracy™ Collector's Edition - Digital Download for $7.50 comes with 2000 Turbine points. That would be neat if it worked. Nevermind, nicely summarized!
You can apply these codes to any account, even accounts that already have them. Multiple times. This makes these deals the cheapest way to buy TP. Comparing these deals to the current Double Bonus Point sales:
Average price for 1000 TP:
$3.75 Shadowfell Collector
$4.50 Shadowfell Standard
$5.25 MotU Standard
$6.00 Starter Pack
$6.00 Half-Orc Pack
$11.41 Double Bonus Points: 700 for $7.99
$10.25 Double Bonus Points: 1950 for $19.99
$8.53 Double Bonus Points: 4100 for $34.99
$6.78 Double Bonus Points: 8850 for $59.99

Some questions:
1) Can you add a Collectors or Standard Shadowfell edition to your account if you already have one (or the other)? My recollection is that you can "upsize" the edition but can't downsize? Same questions for the MotU packs.
2) Are the "Legendary Upgrades" discounted?

Unless things have changed, you can't apply the same thing to an account multiple times. You can upgrade, though, from a lower version of an expansion to a higher version (eg, Shadowfell Standard -> Shadowfell Collector's).
Somebody tried to put multiple of the same expansion on a single account before, and that was the dev response they got.
What I'm curious about, though, is what happens if you bought an expansion in-game for TP (in the old store; you can't buy the bundles anymore), then try to apply an expansion code from the market. I might give that a try later, as I bought Shadowfell with TP a while ago. Should be able to apply both the Standard and Collector's editions (in that order), but we'll see, perhaps.

I just tried to do this with a Shadowfell CE and could not do it. At myaccount.turbine.com it says:
The following subscription(s) already have the features you are activating
However, I went into my account and noted an overflow error (because the last thing I was doing was Night Revels runs and my inventory was full). I sold something and did not see anything drop into the empty spot... can't remember if the Shadowfell CE was an inventory clicky or not...
At any rate, until stacking same packs on the same account is VERIFIED 100% I would hold off doing it.

Are there separate codes in the Shadowfell CE pack for the TP and the Adventure Packs? Buying those just for the TP would be cheaper than buying TP even with the Double Bonus sale. Just wanting to get the most for my money. I already have the CE pack from last year.
It would have been nice if they came up with something NEW instead of the same old sale as last year. Since I spent my money then, there is nothing for me this year unless I spend MORE for less TP. Give something to those that have supported the game regularly!

I could see adding a market bundle that includes tomes, pots and TP as a regular market item that would also give everyone a chance to enjoy Black Friday sales.
Something like a lesser heroic xp tome, 500 TP, and 5 superior xp pots for $20 normally, which would be $3 right now. (Basically, designed like the Half-Orc and Druid bundles but without Half-Orc and Druid.)

There are not. When you enter the codes provided, everything goes to that account. You can't split it up unfortunately. At least that's how it was last year when I bought the expansions during the Black Friday sale.
$17.50 for the Shadowfell Collectors Edition, Menace of the Undercard Standard, and Starter Pack is really fantastic. It almost makes me want to start a second account just to be able to buy it again. It includes a crazy amount of stuff for a starting out account.

I'm finally going to buy bladeforged for 647 tp and considering a supreme +6 tome for 2575.
I wish they'd have put legendary shadowfell on sale, I'd have bought it at 50% for sure.

Just plonked down $25 for stuff for my son so that its no longer a hassle when he plays with me.
Fantastic deals on offer. Now has some high level stuff, and about 5000 TP to buy Vale, shared bank, and a few other things.
Turbine, you really should be shouting this from the rooftops. Convince all the FTP people out there to fork out $5 or $10 and make the game infinitely better.

$17.50 for the Shadowfell Collectors Edition, Menace of the Undercard Standard, and Starter Pack is really fantastic. It almost makes me want to start a second account just to be able to buy it again. It includes a crazy amount of stuff for a starting out account. Those three add up to $14.25, no?
Starting a second account isn't a bad idea at all. See the "Dual-box Openers" link in my signature for some build ideas. For example, it's really nice to always have a crucible swimmer ready to go. Bonus points for always having a character available at any heroic level range for grouping with guildies, new players, events, etc...
I also find it fun to set up constrained builds. I get a definite satisfaction out of completely "finishing" a character, such that regardless of new content or gear or level cap raises or whatever, that character is still finished.

I know allot folks like the permenant L3 hire. How do those work, exactly?
When I apply the starter pack to my account, the next time I log on to any character, it appears in my inventory?
What if I delete it from my inventory. Does it come back each time I log on?
I'm interested in the starter pack but only for the TP. If I essentially lose an inventory spot on all my characters, it's not worth it to me.

I pass it around my lowbie toons by using the shared bank.
Also, if you play arty it' nice to have the L3 perm hire target the dog and keep it healed :D
It shows up in your inventory. When you out level it, put it into the shared bank for storage and/or move to another toon. Very handy.

The permanent hireling is great. Summoning & dismissing it resets instances, which is nice for those that never had an entrance dialog, and so never got a Reset button. (E.g., Eerie Forest, Research Facility.) Also, the hire has Divine Vitality, so free extra SP once per 5 minutes if you need it. And it's a lever-puller for all the non-Arti/Dru/Wiz out there.

I got them for my alts. It comes with:
Half-Orc Race
Tap the power of orcish blood as a half-orc! The strongest of all player races, half-orcs make excellent barbarians, fighters, and favored souls.
Power Evidence Trinket
Give your characters a boost with the Power Evidence trinket. Granting +1 STR, DEX, and CON, this trinket is a must for any melee class.
500 Turbine Points
Enhance your adventure with 500 Turbine Points. Buy additional quests, cosmetic pets, experience boosts, buffs, and more.
I like playing half-orcs allot.
FYI, regarding the Half-Orc pack, that Power Evidence Trinket is then included in ALL newly generated characters, on all servers, regardless the race you make it at character generation.

Ok, so if I'm understanding this correctly...
I already bought the Half-Orc and Druids with points a long time ago, but not through DDO Market codes. So, I should be able to buy the Half-Orc and Starter packs and get a total of 750 tps for $4.50, right?
I mean, it's not a crazy awesome deal, but at least it's the one thing of value I can think of, since I've already bought the expansion packs in years previous.

LuKaSu,
As far as I know, if you used the in-game DDO Store to buy Half-Orc with Turbine Points, I do not think you received the Power Evidence bonus item that comes in the DDO Market's package, so that is another benefit of the purchase. Druid has a lesser tome that I also think did not come packaged with your in-game DDO Store purchase of the Druid Class. This is one of the most important delineations of the in-game DDO Store, vs. the out-of-game DDO Market, is that the DDO Market has so many goodies included that it is typically better to wait for these sales at the Market to then commit and buy (although TP can be obtained free, I realize, for in-game DDO Store purchases).

Sadly, no, you can't apply codes to accounts that already have them. You can upgrade a lesser expansion to a greater one, but you can't apply the same expansion.
now i can triple box.
by accident, i applied a $5.25 MotU Standard Edition to a account that already had MotU on it.
(the previous MotU i purchased was with TP's though)
i hope this helps someone

So I have the Shadofell Standard Edition; if I upgrade to Collector edition I will get:
2 new Iconic Heroes (Shadar Kai & Mornignlord)
2 Character Slots
2k TP
1 Greater Tome of Learning
+2 skill tome
Works that way or I'm wrong?
Thanks in advance!

Theorically, with the upgrade to Collector's edition you should get more:
2 new Iconic Heroes (Shadar Kai & Mornignlord)
2 Character Slots
2000 Turbine Points
Defender Hireling - Level 17/24
Wilderness Cosmetic Armor Kit
Exclusive Tan Striped Pseudo Dragon Creature Companion
2 Pack of +3 Skill Tomes per character
Lesser Tome of Epic Learning per character
Wizard Cosmetic Hat and matching creature companion hat
5 Sovereign I XP Elixirs per game world

I bought four sets of things, so my question is if are able to get the store points to stay on one account. Also, just how exactly does this work? You redeem per account and select an individual purchase out of the lot or is it an all or nothing type thing? I was going to have 2 others join with this, but I was wanting to be greedy and keep the points on my account ...since I'm the one that paid.

Then I have a problem. I bought several packs that are obviously one per account. Now what? I don't see how there can be an option to buy more than one of something when it's not able to be applied. I was under the impression that you have access to what was bought and just picked out what you wanted, much like shared items on an account.

You can buy multiple of packs because you can gift them to others. They would just need to enter the code that you give them.
I would suggest you contact Turbine and hopefully you can get a refund.

I have 7 accounts, so I buy multiples. I have a village to feed.
If you already pimped your main account and don't have an alt account, you basically have 2 choices. Create an alt account to apply the packs to, or ask Customer Service for a refund.

I keep the email receipt and check them off as I give them away. And it also helps me keep track of what code is for what pack.
You can email the code to someone, or copy and paste and send it via /tell in-game.
Or be clever and make my neighbor's kid geocache for it by writing on a piece of paper. I have to find a clever spot for the little fella. He will also get RL xp from finding and typing the code to make it work, etc. I'll throw some other goodies into the cache as well (I know it would be a bummer just to get a scrap of paper after the effort and have to wait to get home or parent avail. to apply the code).

I went back and forth on whether or not to get he druid pack.
It's $3 right now and you can get a lesser tome of learning for the xp boost. No need to buy for the class.
I did a price check before buying. The lesser tome of learning costs 995 TPs in-game. Better deal to get the Druid pack for it. Double Point sale right now in-game is 700 TPs for $7.99. $3 still a better price for tome, even if you got the class via MoTU.
I have the tome in bank right now and not sure which toon I'll use it on. I don't like to TR, but I have allot of toons parked at 28. Maybe I will TR one and use the tome for 2nd life. Hard to choose. I might put it on one of my Warlocks.

If you get the Druid pack for nothing but the lesser xp tome, you're essentially paying $3 for 796 TP, assuming you would normally wait for a 20% off sale before buying the tome.
$3 for 796 TP is equivalent to paying $3.77 for 1000 TP, which is a great deal. For comparison, you pay the following amounts for 1000 TP:
$3.75 Shadowfell Collector's during this 85% off sale
$5.25 MotU Standard during this 85% off sale
$6.00 Half-Orc bundle during this 85% off sale
$6.00 Starter Pack during this 85% off sale
$5.97 Buying the $200 points bundle during double bonus points sale
$4.55 Buying the $200 points bundle during a triple bonus points sale (rare sale; once or twice per decade)

If you buy some of the expansions, it gives an option to buy 11k TP for $60. I got this and a bunch of of the 85% off sales, and ultimately ended up with 2k extra TP I don't know where from.
This.
I own the SF Collectors.
I really want the 11k TP option again.
Should I get the SF Standard or SF Collectors again?
Collectors again for more character slots and 2k TP instead of 1k TP Standard with one slot is still worth the extra $3.
Main thing is I want to use the code for 11k TP for $60 that was already done when I bought SF Collectors Edition.
Will the code for 11k TP always work?
It is worth the wasted money on the expansion today even if the expansion does not work. $5 or $7 wasted is still worth it.
