The death knell may have sounded for DDO. It seems that the servers can't keep up with a lower mid-level computer hooked up to a higher-end connection. Will they care if everyone leaves? Or, will the emptiness that is now pervasive on every server just continue to get worse until it comes crashing down upon their heads?

There have been so many doom threads everybody has lost count.
I think we should have a separate forum section for them.
(Anyone with a picture of a DOOMsphere?)

Have you enabled pre-caching?
Have you defragmented your hard drive?
Have you checked that something doesn't interfere with read/writing on the same hard drive while you are loading DDO?

I'm still having tons of fun. IDK why people are leaving. I've been playing for almost 3 years, only have 1 greensteel item, 16 toons I play, and rarely play in epics. No doom have a chill pill

Don't feel bad. There are players that have top of the line boxes and Turbine still tries to convince them 1+1=3 when it comes to performance issues. You gotta see it their way or you're just wrong.

Pal, it's boring. I have a solution for you and every prophets: LEAVE. Both from the game and from the forums. DDO will be up as long as it should be. No more, no less. I don't care when, we will know it in time. I hope it will be on the far future.
P.S.: Oh and please do not return. Thanks.

Thank you for following my "DOOOOOM!!!!!11111!!!!! early and often" advice. I knew someone would hear me.
And I don't believe when you say you "hate to say this". Seems to me like you rather enjoy it a lot.
