I like DDO a lot but its extremely boring without people. Every server just seems dead to me. My main is argo and its very hard to find a group. I wouldnt mind starting over on another server if there were people on that server. I used DDOoracle and it showed thelanis as the most popular but instead it had so little LFMs i couldve sworn i was on wayfinder. Like is there any server in this game that has decent amount of LFMs or is the entire game just a dead game? I love healing a lot but its just not possible anymore to make a healer when there are no groups.

There are no lfms because too many people just look for lfms and don't post them. I have no problems filling a group when I post an lfm on Orien, which I recently heard is the 2nd to least populated server.
Also, unless you are party leader, you don't really have a say whether additional hirelings are summoned and I wouldn't be offended by it as many people in today's game don't expect to be healed by other players and often summon hirelings just for raise dead and park them at the door. As sad as it is, healers are not needed anymore.

Can't speak for other servers but Thelanis seems fairly healthy. Atleast during prime time.
The only server to avoid really is Wayfinder. The rest seem to be somewhat close to each other in population according to what I've read.

Cannith seems pretty healthy most of the time, although it's been very slow in the last couple of weeks.

You need an active guild that focuses on the same type of play you do (heroic TR, or epic TR, or raids). I would check the forums for guilds actively recruiting.

Argo is the current Default and history shows that that is always {well except for the one exception when Orien had it} the most popular by some margin.
Over the past couple of years Cannith, Sarlona and Ghallanda have been the top 3 for most of the time {Orien made it up to second behind Cannith when it had the Default but dropped back down to 7th almost immediately upon losing it.}.
Historically Khyber, Thelanis and Ghallanda were the big 3 but neither Khyber nor Thelanis have had the Default in over 3 years now {Since Wayfinder was created!}. And G-Land has had serious issues with Lag and DCs meaning a number of people left for other servers or just plain quit the game....G-Land did have the Default 18 months ago though so isn't doing too badly.
Orien is a vets paradise and not friendly to newbies unfortunately - It's also the least populated of the big 7.
Wayfinder is a soloists paradise with a 3rd of the population of Orien - Wayfinder never really got off the ground and should be merged with Ghallanda ASAP!
If I was to list the servers currently in order of population based on what I've seen when I've logged on to each at least once a week:
1) Argo
Joint 2) Ghallanda and Sarlona
Joint 4) Cannith and Khyber
6) Thelanis
7) Orien
8) Wayfinder
There isn't much of a difference between Ghallanda in 2nd and Thelanis in 6th btw but quite a gap below Thelanis to Orien and a massive gap between Orien and Wayfinder in 8th.
The Default btw has gone from when Wayfinder came into being: Wayfinder - Ghallanda - Cannith - Orien - Sarlona - Orien {for 2 weeks} - Cannith - Argo.
Next after Argo should be Thelanis then Khyber.

75% + of Guilds fall into two catagories:
1) Small {Under 20 accounts and most of those will not be daily players! Those who do play daily will either be running with a small group of regular players or soloers who may run with you when they're at your level but that will be once in a blue moon!}.
2) Huge {Over 100 accounts and will take anyone, Many accounts will be inactives who haven't logged on in over a month...sometimes years!}.
Of the remaining Guilds the majority will be full of Uber Vets and will either not be recruiting at all or only recruiting other well known vets - A Lvl 7 joining will find the active players are all either in Epic Levels or blasting through a TR Life so fast that they'll be 3-10 levels ahead of the newbie the following day!
Guilds of 20+ members are pretty cliquey and Guild chat I've noticed from my time in bigger Guilds on other servers AND from trying to recruit for my own Guild on Cannith is rarely utilised {I use it but others don't!}.
People stick with those they know, Players are further set apart from each other by level gaps, Elite Streaks and skill levels. Not to mention time played - I can get on fine with someone who plays mainly GMT Mornings but as I go round the clock I may see them only one week out of three.
DON'T look for a Guild based on wanting the people already in that Guild to be at your beck and call 24/7 - You'll only be disappointed!
Bigger isn't always better - Many Large Guilds will have a small clique of vets who always run together, a number of soloers who rarely if ever run with anyone else in Guild and a whole slew of inactive or barely active players you may only see once a month {and that's just those online at the same time as you!}.

I am on Argo server and it is very active. There are 30+ LFMs up during prime hours. I posted an LFM late last night and was able to get two players in 5 minutes and then we filled as we started the quest. You just have to be proactive with posting LFMs for the quests that you want to run.
