Where is everyone? Soloing is getting extremely boring! I've been on many servers and most are very empty. I like this game, yes, even with all it's flaws.

There are many people on Sarlona, although it's between updates so not the busiest of times.

There are 5 lfms up in my level range - earlier there was 8.

During peek U.S. hours I don't seem to be having any problems finding a party on Orien or Thelanis. I just put up my LFM and tends to fill fast.

Since the update on Argo, had a full party nightly.

I can still usually attract a couple people for F2P quests or the more popular XP/Min quests, but it is definitely feeling very empty in Stormreach.

I don't think I've ever seen the Marketplace vendors reset their items due to no one being in the Marketplace, but for the last couple days they have been almost completely empty.

It's been a very long time since I've seen multiple instances anywhere.

It's really quite sad.

I also play on many servers, but I rarely look at the LFM.

I log lots of hours.
I track lots of statistics.

I have completely different goals in this game compared to 98% of the player base. It might be higher than that though. I am fine with that also.

I no longer play the game for the perceived power my pixelized character can have, but I actually play it for enjoyment.

Never had issues on Thelanis. Can't speak for other servers.

Hi,

Show a little ankle, or maybe even some knee.

Works like a charm.

Thanks.

The simple answer is: Daily.

Just not on every server, every day ;)

Outside of the US peak playing time the game is a wasteland. I can have LFRs up for hours and only get a couple of people. And generally I rarely seem them when Im looking to join other groups.

And when I do see them its "need Elite opener" opened by a guy with a masked name so you cant see who they are to decide if you want to join them.

Luckily I play with a group of 4 others so we dont need to look elsewhere that often with our main toons.

I've had the best results when I just put in what quests I plan to run and then start. Usually, people join and a good time is had by all.

The only problem is when I'm on a first- or second-life toon. Thankfully, I have less and less of those.

Cannith has been suspiciously quiet last few days. I TR'd again a few days ago, and it's been a bit tough to fill a party.

Just finished running EE Fire on Thunder Peaks, Temple of the Deathwyrm, Defiler of the Just, and Mark of Death on Cannith with a full party. No problems (except lag in EE DotJ).

The many guild airships and many areas of the game spread people out so that towns never seem busy anymore. If you join a good active guild however, your problem just might vanish.

after having to change text color of OP - answer is yes. Lots of pugs on Khyber today.

Sarlona has been hit or miss for me lately. I was just on from 9:30-11:00 eastern and my Breaking the Ice and then Belly of the Beast LFMs were the only ones in epics at all.

Earlier today we got a full group for Tracker's Trap, Lines of Supply and Breaking the Ranks (all EE).

I'm usually posting LFMs so I check to see if there is something I want to run posted and if not, i'll put up my own LFM. If I get a group I might not look at it for a while, so I may miss some LFMs that post while we are out adventuring.

All that said, I've felt the Sarlona pug scene to be pretty light since a week or so before 28.1.

Everybody are on these forums where the real RP-ing is going on. ;)

Uurlock not liking text color is so funny....
Anyhow, agree, Khyber is relatively active, and (mostly) has a good diversity of quests listed in LFMs. at least during US afternoon and evening hours.

Emphasis on a GOOD GUILD.

No bias here of course you all understand ;):D:)

It's 2 weeks I've returned on Argo after almost 18 months of real life.

I TRed last week to grind some TP and while I didn't even bother to put lfms 'till level 7-8 I must admit that most of them filled quite fast (except when I play morning time in France which is understandable). By level 11 till 17 (where I stand today) most of my lfms filled in a couple of minutes (Quest/elite comment : ip). Only some really non sexy quests like Cursed Crypt (long) and (CoF long, far away and poor xp) had little success. Lordsmarch 1&2 Gianthold and Necro4 are like : you put the lfm you get 5 persons even before reaching the quest.

My remarks :
1- Some stuff are more rare than before (shroud for instance which is a raid I still love dunna why) and raids tend to be played for couple weeks then forgotten thanks to the raid-timer bypass imo but we can't speak of empty servers, at least not on argo.

2- Population seems to have become : very new players and very ancient multi TR players. Looks like the average has vanished. But it puts me in a good mood to be with a couple of veteran and having someone new join, ask for help or advice and get it. Reminds me of the experience I had when I joined 5 years ago.

That is something I noticed a lot on Cannith. not sure how it is these days, because i simply do not have the time to dedicate to two servers, but in almost every PUG you had at least one zerger, who ran ahead and didn't give a **** about the rest of the group, at least one very new player who you somewhat had to shepherd through the quest, and me trying to keep things together. As a new player being left behind by one of them ruthless uber-players is very discouraging.

I have to say that I have not made that experience on Khyber a lot, some very impressive players there still take the time to explain things and show you around if need be. Of course, maybe I just got lucky runnign into the right people at the right time. And by the time I started playing on Khyber I had learned to ignore BYOH groups as a newb and/or a non-selfhealing character. Still ignoring them actually, but on purpose.

OP, you're asking where people are.. within the 1st 2 weeks after Fallout 4 and the new Tomb Raider games were released? I've barely even logged in for daily dice in the past week & at least 2 of my guildies plus a number of others I know on Thelanis were planning to have a little away time... but we'll be back soon enough I expect :)

I've had the best results when I just put in what quests I plan to run and then start. Usually, people join and a good time is had by all..

I eTR'ed Friday and in the last 5 days I filled PUGs I posted for EE saga farming for LoD, C1, C2, C3, Wheloon, Druid's, High Road, and Stormhorns by simply doing that alone... Posting my own LFM...

My routine consists of:
Post an LFM stating starting in 5 mins, get buffs, sell / repair, and make my way to the quest entrance...in that time alone I have 1-2 joiners and by the time I am ready to step in, PUG is full and LFM drops off the list... My LFMs never last more than 5 - 10 minutes before they fill...either I am really lucky or people like running with me...I have no problems filling LFMs on Sarlona for anything I want to run this life.

I believe it's just a timing issue and poeple shy to post LFMs, because I may log in and see a blank LFM panel, I post an LFM and it's full in no time.

I play on Sarlona.
