after the thread regarding stick builds i started my friend has decided to err on the side
of caution as he dosen't have many past lifes and plumped for a 16 rogue 4 or 2/2 something
so he has a little more defence and gets still to play a stick build but not so glass cannonish.

i on the other hand have decided that the idea of a stick build which ive never played or really
even wanted to play is kinda intriguing and has now peeked my interest enough to actually give
this a go. so my next life is going to be a stick build. now what i would like to know is dps wise
which is the best way to go.

for past lives for this one well im currently on life 114 so this will be life 115, im only 2 lives away
from the triple triple triple one of them being rogue so this build covers that im guessing. tho if
something is miles better then rogue im open to suggestions providing its not paladin.

the only conditons for this is no paladin. so 14 paladin 6 something is totaly out the window. i find
paladins to be boring sorry but for this life i want to live on the edge so to speak also the build i
will do will be a iconic so im kinda liking shadar kai. i like playing 15 to 28. also im kinda thinking that
this is the build i would like to take into the new content coming (epic shroud).

looking through the enhancements im leaning to either a pure rogue or a 18 rogue 2 monk build
using either wind stance or earth and running in legendry if there is something better dps wise
out there then please im all ears. dex based for both of these.

regarding the sticks ive got or can make/get the following:

dreamsplitter lvl 14, im guessing this is good enough to take me to lvl 20 where the fun begins.
epic souleater lvl 20
stoat oak walking stick lvl 20
epic bone crusher lvl 26
epic light unending lvl 28

im guessing a epic elemental bloom would be good to have tho the idea of farming toee is kinda
putting me off getting one but if there that good then i will. ( how are the drop rates for these?)
are there any other staffs im going to need ?

as you can see im all ears and open to most suggestions. if the build is a glass cannon then so be it.
its just got to have the best dps that is possible.

thankyou for taking the time reading the above and hopefully for all help given.

your friend sil :)

This (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/459818-Centered-Thief-Acrobat) is probably still the best acrobat build ATM, you'd lose a feat by going Shadar-Kai but it's still workable. If anything I'd suggest getting another Stout Oak or two, it's a pretty decent staff but it will break a lot so back ups are nice. Dreamsplitter obviously isn't perfect but I've done 15-20 with it just fine and would not suggest farming up another stick for a TR build.

hey thankyou very much for the link, seems right up my street.
i had a quick look through the rogue threads and somehow i
missed that that one god knows how. now i just got to compare
this to pure rogue.

ill be doing the old adi ritual on all my staffs so hopefully that
will help with them not breaking to much and i certainly will be
getting another stout oak thanks for the suggestion.

i do have a quick question about sweeping strikes. the wiki states that the dc is calculated as
10 + rogue level + dex mod is this right ? does a trip item not equate into this formula? if not
the dc seems a bit low for high end ee content 10 + 28 + 27(64 dex) = 65. also does the trip
make the mobs helpless ?

Just looked up Epic Bone Crusher if you have one of those and this is just a life for you don't worry about Epic Elemental Bloom not worth the time spent getting it.

Trip items don't factor into it.

It's a strength (or Dex) save so it's actually quite high. Mobs are tripped for 3 seconds and are not helpless, but with the wake up animation there's plenty of time to do serious damage to a large group when you trip them. It's a very, very strong ability (and it's just so satisfying to trip ten mobs at once).

from this im guessing that the bloom drop rate is rather bad.
even tho i am a tr nut job i do like to have items to do the job
right and who knows if its fun then i might come back to the
build or even adapt it for say a bard life (ice fun) etc etc.

please dont take the tr part as im going to 28 then tr'ing instantly.
this may or may not be the case depending on how i get on with the
build etc or it could be like i am with druid caster builds (done to
many name) because i like tweeking things. you know what if i add
this or take away this etc etc.
