Warlock's Depravity

I am trying to find out how the Depravity works with the Warlock. I am unclear as to how it works, and what it does to the character. If I get it, what will I gain? Anyone, please help me to understand, Thanks, Kaaous

I am unclear of what you do not understand about depravity.

The simplest way I can think of how to explain it is a counter of 'tokens' till able to use abilities, gaining 'tokens' from warlock attacks (eldritch attacks of any shape) only. Max number and rate of able to gain a charge increases with each core of TS (start at 10 max at 6.5 seconds between each gain, with each core taken being modified by +10 and -1 respectively). If you think of it as 'tokens' for doing eldritch attacks then think of it's uses as prizes for the tokens.

uses (all located in TS tree):
3/2/1 command SLA (tier 1)
3/2/1 Confuse (tier 3)
6/4/2 Stunning blast (teir 2)
12/8/4 Mass confuse (tier 5)
7 = Snatch = temp hp equal to 50% of max hp, reduces max hp by 3% per use. (core)
10 = Tainted Spellcasting = +25 USP, +2 spell DC (core)

Depravity is an alternate cost - so instead of using mana or something else - it uses depravity. The only uses are those things in tainted scholar. As you spend more AP in the tree the depravity cost is lowered on some items. Command is for a single use.

So basically you build up depravity charges over time and you use those charges to activate the abilities in the tainted scholar tree.

Go to your character sheet=>enhancements. You should Tainted Spellcasting as a Square Icon in the top portion of the list.

Drag the Icon to a hot bar and as you use Eldritch Blasts you will see the counter increment.

When it gets to 10 you can click Tainted Spellcasting and it gives +2 spell DC and +25 Universal spell power indicated here...
