Crafting question

So, I've got a ring with a green slot on it. I wanted to make it into a Devotion +66 Ring of Perform +13. I crafted the shards of potential (+6 through +13, inclusive) and applied them. Then, I applied the Perform shard (since this is more important than Devotion). When I tried to apply the Devotion shard, I got the message that it exceeds the ring's potential. Now, Devotion +66 is a +7 shard, while Perform +13 is a +6 shard. Currently, the ring has a +9 in the upper right corner. Does this mean I will not be able to apply the Devotion +66 shard? Thanks!

Per the Cannith Crafting Planner the item cannot be made, http://cannith.cubicleninja.com/ , "Item potential > 15, this item cannot be made."

Shards of Potential only go up to 15.

EDIT ~ The green slot makes it go beyond L15.

EDIT 2 ~ A yellow slot only puts you right at Shard of Potential 15.

EDIT 3 ~ A yellow and white double augment slot ring is a no go per the planner as well.

Thanks, Livmo. I was trying to put devotion on the ring because this character doesn't have devotion slotted anywhere else. This ring is a temporary ring until I can get a Ring of Deceit (so, more or less permanent lol). I was hoping to find a ring with a yellow and a green slot. I think I'll keep looking for one of those. At least then I could slot Perform only and then slot a Devotion augment. (The green slot is for Good Luck +2). I'm going to put a Resonance augment on her Gloves of Forgotten Craft.

Lootgen accessories only drop with one of the following combinations:
- Colorless
- Yellow
- Green
- Yellow & Colorless

They don't drop with Green + Yellow; only named items can have that combination.


You can't slot spell power (resonance, devotion, etc...) in a green. They are red augments, so they only go in red, orange or purple slots. In terms of crafting, of those three only red drops, and only on weapons. (Not shields; shields get blues.)

Augments and Augment Slots are compatible with Cannith Crafting. Augment Slots and slotted augments persist through disjunction.

When on a Craftable item,
a Colorless Augment Slot adds +1 to the item’s total enhancement value.
Red, Blue and Yellow slots add +2 to the item’s total enhancement value. For example, a Greater Spell Focus (+4 effect) shield of Superior Stability (+6 effect) with a Red slot (+2 effect) requires at least +12 potential.
Green Augment Slots (and purple or orange, if at some point they are available on an item which can be made Craftable) add +3 to the item’s total enhancement value.
