I've seen a lot of threads about legendary Content can someone please explain to me what legendary content is. Is it the new epic only level 30s can enter and will there be legendary normal, legendary hard, and legendary elite, I'm just not sure. And if there's different difficulties with the legendary content will there be incentives to run the different difficulties.

Also it seems like the bypass raid timers are not working as intended can someone explain to me why they just don't make timers work every 18 hours. This seems like the easiest fix, but I'm probably missing something.

Legendary per the last DDOcast podcast with the devs is anything that is level 31+ on Normal (so current level 30 quests that are 31 on hard and 32 on Elite are considered Epic, not legendary)

beyond that we know almost nothing.

I'm hoping that calling it "Legendary" instead of continuing with "Epic" is more than just window dressing. It'd be good IMO if difficulty is along the lines of "Legendary" Normal ~= Epic Hard, "Legendary" Hard ~= Epic Elite and "Legendary" Elite ~= "don't pick this if you want a no-fail or easy experience." <- my 2 coppers worth on that.

This seems like the easiest fix, but I'm probably missing something.If they make Timer Bypasses only function once /18 hours /character, nobody would buy enough to run a raid 20 times in a week or less - they don't seem inclined to cut off a revenue source (though how many people are actually buying them from Turbine vs still running off of Dupapolooza stock piles idk).

We are planning to use the term Legendary to denote new quests, raids, and adventure areas that are CR31+, in the same way 1-20 is Heroic and 21-30 is Epic. The main difference being that in discussing Heroic/Epic, we are talking about both content and character levels, while in Legendary we're talking about content.

But 36-point builds are also Legendary...

So New Epic content with "new" Old Epic Ward, which was deemed a failure and moved away from with U14 and Menace of the Underdark...

I don't really enjoy epic content. I hate that I spend 20 levels building a character, and then the rules change and charming, stat damage, instakill, yadda yadda no longer work. So my Character that I've crafted devolves into a paper doll to hang equipment on. Equipment that now requires new "Epic Ward" type blanket immunities...

Can't you just nerf Mortal Fear instead?

Time to get out the thesaurus and look up legendary?

To bad TSR did not use a thesaurus on the word "level"?

Will there be legendary destinies as well? Just as an example, imagine an extremely high-powered destiny that gives a lot of melee DPS perks such as increases to melee power, action boosts, special attacks etc., while also giving some defensive benefits on the side like increased hit points and PRR. *Drool*

Will legendary reincarnation be different than epic reincarnation? or will we still be able to reincarnate at 28 then pick up new legendary feats by proceeding to level cap?

Perhaps at 30, ED levels 6 thru 10 will open up?

{Current ED cap is 1 xp shy of level 6, meaning to me that the original intent was to expand them to 10 as epic levels expanded to 10 in some form or another.}
