Can we get an (earlier) heads up on when U29 is going to hit?

I know the development process is fluid, and based on the tidbits the Devs have dropped it sounds like U29 is going to have a lot baked into it. I wanted to point this out because I know the timeline for U29's release is dependent on a lot of things.

This being said, given the raise to the level cap and its impact on ETRing and Iconic TRing, I would ask the Devs give us as much heads up as possible. I have five main toons, and have two family members almost to cap, and it would be very helpful to know how much time I have to fit all the TRing in.

This is not official, but Cordovan stated U29 was at least a few weeks away from being on Lamannia - he said it would be on Lamannia later in November. It will probably be on Lamannia for 3 weeks+ considering the size of the update. We know it's scheduled to be released before the end of the year.

So by process of elimination mid December or a little later.

Slarden and Cru, I appreciate the conjecture and extrapolation - I really do - but it highlights the problem. No one, other than the Devs, really knows. Even being able to tell us "The build will be on Lam x/y/z days/weeks before U29 goes live" would be helpful.

Yeah, I have to get my rogue back to 28 (from 26) before it drops. That way, I can ER and then TR that character and my 18 bard/2 rogue before the level cap goes up.

Devs don't have exact date either. They are targeting something for sure. Probably around Dec 10. So that even if they slip 1 week they still have time for a hotfix before Christmas.

They really aren't capable of giving an exact date.

Long story short is it will hit when the work is done :) They don't seem to be big on making commitments they may not be able to stick to. We should have a rough idea of the week it will fall on when it gets closer though, you can usually get a good idea from Cordo's posts and livestreams when updates start to get closer.

They do, but only if some significant organization covering MMOs gives them the time of day which is rare.

U29 is currently targeted towards the end of the year; that's about as close a time frame as we can currently give you. If everything goes according to plan we expect to have a first build of it up on Lamannia in around 2-3 weeks.

Yes! Grind until your eyes bleed and you're all burnt out on the game becuase, ya know - after the cap increase nobody will be E/I Reincarnating...



...Well, that is except for all the folks still playing who find sitting at level cap kinda boring anyway ;)
