Looks like it...no mas in the Dev Tracker and his name is no longer the official yellow. Welp, it was something.

So I went to review a post Severlin had made. And *poof* it was gone. All of his posts are all gone. Does this confirm the rumors that have been going around since August?

Strange. Here's a post by Severlin and his name is still in yellow: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/466718-What-would-be-quot-fair-quot-compensation-for-the-nerfs?p=5708670&viewfull=1#post5708670 (Granted, he's marked as offline right now.)
EDIT: I don't know why he wouldn't still be in the Dev Tracker. I did check his profile and it shows his last activity as 11:40p on October 21. So, maybe he's just not online right now? (Still doesn't answer the Dev Tracker thing, tho.)

Apperantly, According to SteelStar, Severlin was doing forum work that made his forum account demoted from Developer Status

Typical admin move, dropping the table with your own rights.
;)
Hahaha, the nr of new folks that get handed over a script that just does that and then are asked to run it at 5 min to 5 on a Friday afternoon when no one is in the office anymore.

I was in a hurry one time, and did a chown -R for my own home directory on a box I didn't have admin on... fat-fingered it, of course. That sucked. :-D The clever tricks that save you time and then wind up blowing an evening.

No way man! That's just a cover-up! We know there's a conspiracy. The more you deny it the more it just proves it's a fact.
Or something .....

I'd be very careful believing rumors from other "places." Think of the type of people those places draw.

I think overall Severlin is doing a great job with DDO. While some of the balance changes don't seem totally balanced to me, it was a necessary step to scale back on player power.
The first proposal had flaws, but Sev and crew addressed the issues with bard, rogue, etc. I think they ultimately made the right call on twf paladins and bows as favored diety weapons.
I look forward to a little more stability in my builds once we get past all the passes and rebalancing. I still think the game favors PRR to highly, but that can be easily addressed through changes to champions rather than builds.

You took away Sev's permissions? You have the powah!
Tell him to get you some coffee or there will be more where that came from.

Wrong producer. Sev came in and was the first producer to clean up the duping after the previous 3 allowed releases with known duping including the card game.

Severlin and crew were members of the dev team to introduce the very same overbalanced changes that made it into the latest nerf/pass/whatever it's called. And they're "fixing" it by introducing code changes that will likely have still further unforeseen broken consequences down the road.
Two wrongs don't make a right, and two breakings don't make a fix.

...and two breakings don't make a fix.Ever heard of a poorly/un-set broken bone still mending? Have you idea how they fix that? Short term pain for long term gain.

No, not at all. You are right that the duping did start before Severlin was producer but only by weeks. It continued on for over 12 months while he was producer though and nothing at all was done about it, not 1 ban, not 1 warning, not 1 patch for over 12 months. Even after multiple bug reports, screen shots and detailed descriptions of how the bug worked still nothing for over a year. Changed the game for ever, thats why I'll remember Sev as the duping producer.

The duping started in 2013 and by mid 2014 it was out of control. I don't recall sev being around at that time - by the time he came the damage had already been done. It wasn't until he came that we are starting seeing serious action on removing exploits.
