After months off from the game, I took a lowbie TR for a run with with some old guildies. I have not had that much fun playing a game in a while. Really at one point we had too stop because we were laughing so hard! No one worried about damage output, stupid mistakes were celebrated, and hirelings help you if you were next to an exploding barrel.
Coming back to DDO was like seeing my old friends, a comfort just to know it's still around.
I am thankful for this sandbox to play in, and sometimes it takes leaving too realize how much you really like something. Leaving taught me that I was doing it wrong by taking it too serious and not just enjoying the company in a shared game space.
It will be a sad day when there is no DDO to come home too.
Thanks to the Devs, and too you the players who inhabit the game world.
Regards' all
