No.

There are many reasons for merging servers in LotRO that do not apply directly to DDO.

Well do You See any Reason they Would for DDO too ? Soloing everything or waiting an hr to run a Quest/Raid is a Bit much.

There are apparently different technical hurdles in DDO than there are in LOTRO when it comes to merging servers. So, the answer is "no", for now.

Do you have a link to back that up or is this just your opinion?

I play both games and DDO feels emptier than LOTRO pre-merge. So IMO they're gonna merge prob next year after they're done with the LOTRO merge (it's still ongoing).

There is a link running around. I'll try to find it. I distinctly remember seeing a dev (I think Severlin) say that there are no plans to merge servers in DDO because there are different technical concerns than in LOTRO.

EDIT: I can't find it and I don't have any more time to look right now. You'll need to do your own research. Obviously, it would have been around the time LOTRO first announced their server merges. So, that'll help.

I participated in a number of merger discussion threads when LOTRO first announced their server merge plans. I don't recall any Dev saying that. I don't recall it ever being referenced either.
