I've been thinking. Bad idea, yeah. It's just that my casters get tore up when they get hit by spells in EE quests (even in heroic elite quests around level 16ish). Even equipping MRR items, you can get hit by quite a bit. It then came to my attention that arcane casters are missing their magical defensive spells, primarily spell mantles. Any apprentice worth their salt knows how to throw up a spell mantle when defending against another spellcaster, why can't our accomplished wizards and sorcerers do this? I'm not asking for a mantle of invulnerability, just a simple spell mantle or two, modified to fit DDO's mechanics. What'cha think?

P.S. one of these would be an interesting addition to the magister destiny if/when it is revamped.
