My search fu is failing me. Although I did find the resume of an artist that worked on the Monster Manuals.
I have low level Everbright weapons with red augment slots. I just want to put in a red augment that is either 4th level or 8th level. My weapons already have Festival Icy Burst on them.
If anyone can point me to a reference on which oozes, slimes, puddings are immune to what, I can make my own decision. Or, if anyone has the information in their monster manuals, that might have it.
TIA

Sonic is probably your best bet, I don't think there is a single ooze/pudding in the game which is immune to it.

I typically craft Screaming of Everbright for low level ooze beaters. Acid of Everbright is nice too. I *think* I used Sonic>Acid because of arcane oozes.
I don't believe there are Sonic Augments so your best easiest choice is an Acid Augment.
Th Acid or Force equivalent to the Meteoric Star Ruby seems like a good choice too but most low to mid level oozes (and other mobs) will most often be dead from normal attacks before you see a Meteoric Star Ruby or it's ilk proc.

I actually use the Vampire Slayer one that does 1-4 light damage.
Light works on everything. 1-4 damage isn't the best but isn't too bad.
The main reason is that it is Min Lv 1 so there is no switch-a-roony needed at TR time.

I think your best option would be a sonic ruby. If they made one (they don't) vicious would also be an alternative.
Ruby eye of _____ can work too, but depending on ooze type, could also be completely resistant, and even heal them.
The list below indicates that oozes are frustratingly immune to random elements as well as most are true neutral-so no alignment damage augment.
Imo I always found a crafted vicious of everbright (bludgeon) rocked 'em.

I think your best option would be a sonic ruby. There aren't any, only sonic spell power.
For low level, crafted without an augment is best, but if you have to use an augment weapon go with cold. Here's how it shakes out:
Gray Ooze (various low level quests, mainly Harbor 2s)
Immune to Cold and Fire
Black Pudding (various low level quests)
Vulnerable to Cold
Split by Electricity
Ochre Jelly (various low level quests)
Immune to electricity
Violet Slime (various low level quests)
No special qualities listed
Avatar of Jubilex (Optional end boss in The Pit)
Probably resistant to everything, same as arcane oozes
Healed by Acid and Fire
Arcane Oozes (VON2, necro3, Harbinger)
Resistant to everything (Fire, Cold, Sonic, Light, Vicious, Law, Chaos, etc... Not immune, but everything does reduced damage.)
Healed by Acid
Hasted by Electricity
Blight Ooze (necro3)
Immune to Cold and Fire
Split by Electricity
Gelatinous Cube (necro3, vale of twilight)
Immune to electricity
Digestive Slime (in the belly of the beast)
Immune to Acid, Cold and Fire
The way I see it, acid, fire and electricity heals and/or buffs some of them so I discard those immediately. Since there are no sonic augments that leaves only cold. For my personal weapons, here's what I use:
ML2 Screaming Maul of Everbright (crafted, BTA)
ML8 +3 Screaming Maul of Everbright (crafted, BTA)
ML18 +5 Icy Burst Maul of Everbright (1d6 Frost) (crafted, BTC)
The idea here is that I keep the first two mauls on a mule, passing them to whichever alt I'm TRing at the time for use during heroics. ML2 to get use of it immediately, as I eat daily dice xp to go straight to 2. The ML8 one is just barely enough enchantment level (+6) to get the +0.5[W] paragon bonus. The ML18 one is the "endgame" ooze beater I use, and everyone gets their own once they reach ML18. Screaming is better than cold, but I use Icy Burst because that allows the weapon to just barely qualify for the +1[W] epic weapon bonus for being enchantment level 11. You can't reach +11 with screaming. The augment is mostly just there to reach +11, but since I have it I slot in an ML16 frost augment to keep it ML18.
Note: Oozes have virtually no AC or physical defense of any kind, so it's perfectly fine to use a maul against them even if you lack proficiency.
If I couldn't craft masterful craftsmanship I would still go for +6 and +11 versions for the [W] bonuses, equipping them at ML10 and ML20 instead of 8 and 18. That would let me slot an ML20 frost augment instead of ML16, but I rather like having the "epic" ooze beater available for vale.
The "endgame" ooze beater isn't the best option; I think Shining Devastation (http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Shining_Devastation) is the be-all end-all ooze beater in the game. But I don't run Litany because I find the flagging to be far too onerous, so the ML18 crafted alternative is the best I can do. It actually ends up being pretty darn close to Shining Devastation in terms of dps.
EDIT: The exotic augments, like the Mabar light damage one, would be better than Frost but I wouldn't spend that much on an ooze beater.

Impssble rlly.
Anytime Oozes, Slimes, & Puddings get together, they can never agree.
Session generally starts out with Politics; then quickly veers towards Abortion vs Pro-Life.
Soon it quickly degenerates into Pudding spouting off about the other two being Gelatin-Based while he is, indeed, nearly pure Chocolate, Sugar, & whole milk.
quite a fiasco

LOL
You forgot to mention the ban on importing Spoon Augments, though.

TYVM. This is perfect.
Cold it is.
If I had a bazillion of the Mabar Light Augment ones I would do it. I might have four of them. Unfortunately, those are on the Cannith Server and the characters I am going to give these too are on Thelanis. I keep trying to wean myself from Thelanis, but I keep playing there. I swear, I am really close to leaving that server.(I think I have said that four times now)
