Returning Person Looking for Active Players

Hello everyone,

I have recently returned to the game from a 2ish year break. I have unfortunately found that my guild is pretty inactive and the PuG life on Argo is just about dead. I am trying to get a few more PL's under my belt, but I am having difficulty with the lack of players I can find.

I was wondering if there are any fairly active guilds / channels who would be willing to welcome me in. I am on my 7th life, and I have a fast, self-sufficient, solo / shortman playstyle. I am on for several hours a day, usually evening time EST. Currently I have no endgame characters, although that could be fixed pretty quickly.

Welcome back to the game.

The environment is a little more fast paced then when you took your break as players these days are doing their full tr in a week (roughly). The lfg scene is much more friendly then I have ever seen it since they made the death penalty an individual counter. I mention this only to try help you keep hope on watching the lfg boards for grouping. Everyones experience on the server is different, I prefer the lfg boards over channels though I have insight enough to see how the channel life can be more appealing.

Unfortunately I do not have any channels or individuals to recommend to you. In terms of guilds, neither one stands out as one to recommend as many have been roster changes recently so I haven't heard of one having a definite direction with what you enjoy on the game. In saying that, I feel any high level guild would welcome your playstyle and as long as they are under level 150 then they have little incentive to decline you if you are active. Renown decay changes made taking risks on new guild members much less punishing to levelling progress.

Since posting, the lfg's have been improving a lot and it is no longer a very long wait to find people. Seems to be a bunch of newer people, and it has been fun re-learning the content with them. Seems like I'll be here for a while!
