Does anyone know if the Feat 'Skill Focus: Spellcraft' enhances the base eldritch damage? I have the evocation and G. evocation, not sure now where to go
Part two is a question about Jump. If you have 8 strength, -1 ability mod...and you raise Jump to 11 (which is then 10 given the -1 ability mod), is that all you need since I was told you need "10" then use a potion and the Jump Spell to get the capped 40.

For jump, a sufficiently high level ranger/wizard/sorcerer can cast jump on you for +30. Jump 40 is the cap, so the idea is that if you can cobble +10 together you can reach the max with a spell.
My experience is that most "jump checks" only require 30. And don't forget that "all skill" bonuses (greater heroism, good luck) apply to jump. But also remember that armor check penalties reduce your jump.

jump potion and spell do not stack.
Jump is capped at 40, you can get it higher, but you will not jump any higher. The jump spell adds 30 (at level 11), greater heroism is another 4, good luck items can go up another 4, skill tomes can add another 5, epic levels will add another 8, and if you can find a slot for a str item/str augment, str tomes etc, you can get to well beyond max with nothing invested in the skill at all.
But if you are planning on tring this life and not dealing with gearing up, then yeah go ahead and put some points into jump.
yes spellcraft increases eldritch blast damage.

Great point about epic levels. That's +8 to all skills.

Cool thanks! I couldn't find anything in the few semi-guides that list the skill focus: Spellcraft. Is it worth it or maybe mental toughness?

I would take maximize and empower. They don't effect the chain blast but they do effect consume, stricken, eldritch burst and spirit blast.
