For 3 days now, the Cannith Crafting Deconstruction Machine hasn't been giving me platinum for the items I deconstructed. Is this a known bug they'll never fix or am I the only one this is happening to?

Your a bit behind the times. It was changed to give platinum a couple years ago.

Honestly, I haven't checked to make sure I've actually received the plat on decons. I watch the chat box for the results of plat and essences, but...

I'll certainly be checking later this morning.

Just checked, watching my plat closely as I deconned a couple items and the plat was paid correctly.

You're a bit behind the times. It was changed to give platinum a couple years ago.That doesn't change the fact that it shouldn't :p

Yup, i'm at the cap. It isn't like plat is hard to get anyway ;)

If your deconstruction dissolvers etc are in your shared crafting bank then you get no platinum from the deconstruction. You have to make sure you have your deconstruction mats on your actual character to get the platinum portion of the deconstruction of magical items.

Just figured this out myself today as I noticed the same (Wasn't getting any platinum from deconstruction) but when I pulled my deconstruction mats from the shared crafting storage then I get the platinum portion again.

Just jumped in to game and checked. You don't get the plat, nor even chat box statement of receiving plat.

Even great players make mistakes, the Cannith Deconstruction gives plat for items deconstructed. Around 3% of base value.

It's actually 60xItemBudgetLevel. So breaking down a +13 item gives 780plat.
