Every online game I ever played offers you something nice just for logging on.
In DDO I get 100 exp 9 out of 10.

I hear the dice aren't weighted , so I guess I'm just lucky'

Is anyone really that lucky.. its gambling where they give you 1 roll a day free..
and ultimately more people lose gambling than win..

Even though it does appear that DDO is using loaded dice..
I have rolled a "1" 42x and a "100" 1x. and even that 100 roll only got me a skill tome that was BTC and less that what I had already used for that skill on that toon.

your math is wrong.

It would be 100xp/86,400 seconds.. (60 seconds in a minute x 60 minutes in an hour x 24 hours in a day)

It follows a pattern. Do some rolls a number of times in your chat window until you get the sense of it and then time the daily roll in there.

I don't bother with this but I have seen clever posters here who pulled this off.

What i do is, stick them in the shared bank. Then when I tr someone I can skip level 1.

I, too, get a little let-down feeling when I hit that 100 xp roll - but at least it's still going forward.


Last weekend was double-XP weekend, and since my freebie roll was off-weekend I went ahead and dropped 12 TP for a Gold roll. Now THAT is when it's a bummer hitting that 04 roll. :rolleyes: :p


Summary: It's in the perspective. If you're looking at DDs as a way to level or gear your char, then you're gonna be disappointed. If you just look at it as just a fun little diversion, then it's all good.

My math is correct. As stated, 100 xp for one click assuming one click takes 1 second of time.
Nothing is saying you do not/cannot pay for more rolls.

Your math is also correct.

The difference being perception/frame of reference, of which both are correct as well.
