New crashing problem?

Like everyone else I must submit to the Awesomium Process from time to time. I usually kill it shortly after logging into a toon and forget about it. Lately though I have had a different experience.

I have logged in normally and killed Awesomium Process as I normally would, but after a short while DDO just locks up for no reason. I can still hear and be heard in party chat, but the client just locks up. Sometimes it happens on a load screen and sometimes while in a quest. I have had this happen numerous times since update 27 patch 1 and each time I checked for the Awesomium Process, but it was not running.

Has anyone else experienced this? Were you able to resolve it without having to uninstall and re-install the whole game?

I kill Awesomium with unbridled enthusiasm almost every time I play. I have not had this problem while NOT having the process running.

Just Friday, I was on the laptop and I had forgotten to become enthusiastic with terminating the processes, and I LOCKED up when I was trying to sell junk. CTRL-ALT-DELETE terminated TurbineClientLauncher.exe and I noticed that I had forgotten to terminate Awesomium. So, I restarted and terminated with unbridled enthusiasm and then had no problems.

Wish I had that experience. DDO seems to be crashing much more often now. Since update 27 patch 1 I would estimate 50 to 70 crashes in approximately 60 hours of playing time. It has even started crashing during quests now also. My guildies experience this from time to time as well although they do not experience it as often as I have been.

I task kill awesomium_process.exe religiously too.

Yes. Though I upgraded to windows 10 around the same time, so I'm not sure if it's u27 or win10...
