Instead of (or in addition to) Epic Green Steel weapons, I propose they be augments. All augments possess the ability CORRUPTED, which means that if more than one of these augments is equipped and worn, the user takes damage over time (ala Green Steel.) These stones can be cleansed via the same method that green steel weapons can. There would be two tiers of augments:

Colorless/Red/Blue/Green:

The lowest tier Green Steel Augment. These contain one ability similar to other similar augments but be ML:20... making them useful for TRing.

Colorless:

+9 to Ability Score
+2 Exceptional Ability Score
+3 Insightful Ability Score
+20 Skill
+6 Exceptional (Ability Score) Skills
Vitality +40

Blue:

+9 Natural Armor
+9 Protection
+9 Resistance
+20 PRR
+20 MRR
+50 HP
Good Luck +3
+50% Exceptional Fortification
-20% ASF

Yellow:

+300 Spell Points
+50 Elemental Resistance
+2 Exceptional Spell Focus
Elemental Absorption 33%
Speed XV
Greater Deathblock

Red:

4d6 Elemental Damage on Hit
+150 Spell Power
Greater Maximize
Greater Empower
Eschew
Extend
Greater Vorpal
+2[W]

Orange/Purple/Green:

These are a combination of three of the above: one Colorless plus two of the colored augments, both of which cannot be the same color. This augment combines the three abilities and adds another, depending on the combination chosen, much like the old greensteel weapons and armor system.

That's my rough idea.

This is a decent idea, but it would require a lot of dev time, and some augs are a little OP for ml 20.

It's a good idea now, and it was a good idea last year when Teh_Troll suggested it (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/441880-Trollerific-Suggetion-for-Epic-Green-Steel).

Yup. I read that and hadn't heard any since, so I mentioned it again. I don't mention banned people only because I don't know if it's a violation.

You can always link to any thread, and as far as I'm aware Teh_Troll wasn't banned he just stopped posting.
