Since they both get max/emp I'm thinking Eldritch Wave would be quite a bit more damage since it scales 150% and hits 3 times despite Spirit Blast getting the 10d6 light damage. Anyone done a comparison?

You'd also have to do the math on the 5s cooldown on blast vs. 8s cooldown on wave, and then also consider the AoE type effect (wave vs blast). Unfortunately, I don't have anything useful to add to the discussion because I really love Shining Through which precludes me from getting the wave ability :(

They both have ups and down. For example Spirit Blast hits things behind you whenever you want to use it, but Eldritch Wave onlt hits what's in front of you and requires targeting a mob before you can use it. But Wave can hit further than Spirit Blast(ie, it has a longer range), I'm pretty sure.

cant give ya numbers, sorry for that, but from when i played around with it, which was before spirit blast was reduced to 120%
wave hit harder, even considering the 10d6 light damage, more so in epic levels once you had additional blast damage - assuming those feats were taken - however due to the fact that you have only 1 use of the wave and 2 "cleaves" your dps will be better going with spirit wave, unless your splitting between soul eater and ES.

I'm currently doing ES T5 with TS T4. When I hit epics and get cocoon then I was thinking I'd increase my DPS with eldritch wave/SE T5 with keeping the 1st cleave from ES. I may just stick with ES though....
