master's touch scroll/spell

I am working on lawful good cleric. it was going to be 20 cleric BUT I decided to take 1 lvl of warlock at lvl 7 so that I could get the mast4er's touch lev 1 spell or be able to use master's touch scrolls. I looks at master's touch wiki and it said I could take warlock to get it. (or I think that is what it said). anyway I do not seem to have it as choice in spells showing, even though I took it under spells when taking spells with warlock. I also can't seem to find it as a scroll under divination. As per normal I am sure It is me missing something but .... any help would be appreciated.

don't know if this will help - but Master's Touch scrolls are only available from the Portable Hole.

ok as I thought it was me. found the spell so no need for scrolls. however, is the portable hole the only place for that spell? I thought the divine scroll npc in marketplace carried all of them. Guess I am wrong again. thx for quick response

Probably too late now but if you were looking to get martial proficiencies you could have just taken a fighter level, and not had to deal with the headache of casting masters touch all the time. Plus have access to haste boost as well.

Or you could have taken a wizard level for extra metamagic and also have gotten master's touch access.

Any reason you chose warlock? I'm not too familiar with what warlock splashes offer, haven't looked at those trees much since the class was released.

If you can I would forego the 1 level of warlock and place a few skill points into UMD to be able to cast it. No fail is 19 skill points of UMD (it is affected by your CHA modifier). The only exceptions Master's Touch Scroll has is that it does not grant you proficiency with exotic weapons or two handed weapons (since you can't wield your weapon and scroll at the same time); but otherwise it works just fine.

The scroll is sold in the Portable hole and the way to get around this is to have another friend cast Teleport on you to get there, then buy a large stack of both Master's Touch scrolls and Teleport scrolls so that you can get back there when you need to. I run a cleric and one of my skill points each level goes into UMD since using scrolls can save sp in certain situations, etc.

Additionally, if you have enough UMD already, just buy some teleport scrolls from the House P (or House J) vendor and teleport yourself to the portable hole.
