I've thought about many different ways of running warlocks, but defiantly like seeing what other ppl are coming up with in regards to different splash of classes with warlock being the main. I personally think healing is an issue, and like some of the spells you can acquire at lower lvls. so, for the purpose of this thread, lets keep it heroic and with the majority of the classes being in warlock.

Well I've done some tests on it live since my next life is going to be a lock.
Currently the 3 Sorc Savant SP boosts don't activate on Pact Blast damage (Electrocution, Erosion, and Conflagration for Fey, GOld, and Fiend respectively.)

I believe that is due to the fact that while the blast does have those types of damages while in pact stance. They arent counted as actually being typed as those elements, but rather either force, evil, or piercing. the elemental damage is merely tacted onto if the actual blast hits. so General spell additions (like the lantern ring) Work, but those that specify an element dont.

A melee-specced dwarven warlock who tries to max his constitution score and invests heavily into Enlightened Spirit. Apparently an E.S. warlock plays a lot like a barbarian.
I haven't played much lately and just came back to get Warlock on my completionist before dropping vip.
Without any forethought, I just threw together a Warlock and jumped in. Fey looked good, drow for extra cha, tossed everything in cha, put a few in int and dex and the rest in con. Most of the enhancements have been tainted scholar.
Now, I ain't the best player, but this class has been so easy from day 1 until my current level of 16. I can solo anything on elite and never need a shrine and only rarely need a heal scroll. It's just stupid op. I can't imagine what it would be like if I bothered to plan it and gear it. (I tossed out all my heroic gear on this toon long ago as I was done with tr'ing and heroic levels)
Honestly, it's boring.

That doesn't really sound much different from my recent barb or bard (swash, with TAB) lives...?

You will have umd in the mid 30s by level 5. I actually never noticed that heal scrolls have a min level to use until I ran a warlock because I never had umd that high at that level even on a bard.
By mid levels with shining through and stanch, you can be running around with 1500 hp, 1000 of which are temp. more than enough to take a few hits, run through the traps without fear, even do the swim in crucible.
With medium armor you can have an ac that matters for heroic and a good amount of prr
and you are a ranged build, so you don't even get into the fray.
Healing is a non issue.
Anyways, what I did was human fiend pact, true neutral. Split ap between tainted scholar and enlightened spirit. Mostly use chain blast for trash, the burst for when I'm surrounded, and enervating shadow on rednames because reasons. put 2 points into souleater for the tainted blood, lowers their fort save, which is the save they use to resist fiend pact fire damage (not that this was an issue in heroics anyway).
Utterdark blast to use light spell power instead of force, and the extra light damage from enlightened spirit, so I just need fire and radiance caster sticks.
And occasionally cast web or black tentacles for some cc.
Hurl through hell is great for orange names that aren't worth the time dpsing, champs with deathblock are vulnerable to it as well.

Actually, it plays a lot like bard and barb except that you just stand back and hold down one button instead of running around hitting two or three buttons.
My point is just dive in and have fun. It ain't rocket surgery.

Probably High Intelligence Evocation focus to focus on your blasts. Which brings the question because I did not try it...do spellsticks still amp even if you are using your blasts? They are still equipped on your character sheet.

First life I went necro, that was a firm "not good enough" to be a necro caster on EE. But it was fun enough for leveling and still having a lot of dps when needed
2nd life I am now going all out damage and will see how that pans out (great old one, max evoc, max cha, running in EA doing light damage via utterdark and using Cone (which I quite like because it has fewer miss-fires))

My current warlock is 14/3/3 warlock/paladin/rogue, for evasion, high saves, LoH, etc. She's quite beastly. Heavily invested into enlightened spirit and sacred defender, so she wades into combat with her aura pulsing, triggers her bursts, and finishes things off with melee. Against tough single mobs I'll drop back to using the castable eldritch bolt and just kite them around, as it tends to do a little more damage than the aura + bursts. Most of my spells are taken up by utility and defense, so she plays a lot like a swashbuckling bard/fighter.
Since she hit max level and I got her geared pretty well, I'm working on another pure-caster warlock, to see how it fares in comparison.

I said with stanch and shining through. They stack.
YMMV, Depending on your con score and max hp. But say you had 30 con (not hard at all to do, temp buffs such as rage potion or spell count) and 500 hp at around level 15, that's an extra 700 temp hp which is plenty to survive running through traps.

I would love to see that comparison.
