Greetings All,
First, I have not played or created a Warlock, yet. However, I've seen here on the forums and have been asked in-game on how to increase spell crits, etc. I will be IR'ing an Iconic into a Warlock soon. And it will be PDK/Warlock. I do my own thing and don't use a planner. Maybe I will share some more ideas after I run a Warlock to 28.
I listened to this episode of DDO Players News and I recomend it to you, because it's a good source of Warlock information. The info. starts at 21:32

BTW you can Cannith Craft both spell power and crits. You can make spell sticks and trinkets easily. I will probably craft a trinket for my Warlock, but here is an example of a spell stick:

Happy blasting,

I agree that the video is a great way to learn about warlocks, just wanted to mention that cannith crafted spellpower/spell crit items are significantly weaker because the spellpower and crit both raise the ML for crafted items, while lootgen ones do not have this issue. Also, can't really craft anything for spellpower above 60 :/
I wish this could be corrected as I craft, but the one type of toon I don't craft weapons for is casters. In lower levels if you can't find a nice lootgen/named one though, doing a purely spellpower item for a weapon and adding spell lore to a craftable trinket works great :)

Yeah, but crafted is better than nothing at all. It has it's kinks, but to be redundant, it's better than nothing.

Also worth mentioning that utterdark blast from t2 tainted scholar changes your blast from force damage to evil damage, and that alignment damage is increased by radiance and radiance lore. You can't cannith craft radiance lore for some reason, but

Real handy item, especially if you went fiend pact.
Also the extra light spell power from enlightened spirit and sun elf past lives will put this ahead of impulse by about 60 points.

Forgot I had that staff in my bank. Huh, that's better then the flameward I pulled out for my wizard turned warlock. Thanks for the reminder.

For sure, definitely better than nothing :)

Good point, might be worth checking that option out :)

For stater gear at lower levels it can be nice to have and it's easy to make. I probably should have posted better pic, but the image was easy to find. Shards are easy to get. A playa can make the unbound versions and mail them or make the item and mail it. No craftin levels needed. I like items with augment slots. I use the augment slots for the spell power, the augments go higher, but meh still imo.
I agree and I certainly do hope that DDO updates Cannith Crafting and stretches it to 28 or 30. The spell power and spell lore could be scaled. Perhaps it all can?
BTW when I get back into the game I'm heading straight to my bank toon and moving a Luminous Truth into the shared bank :D
Thanks Lonnbeimnech!!!

Do items that improve accuracy make any difference for the Eldritch blasts?

Do items that improve accuracy make any difference for the Eldritch blasts?
They do not. Eld Blast itself has no save and is boosted by either force (default) or light (if you take utterdark).
The pact damage is subject to save depending on your pact. Your chance for doing full damage is based on your evocation DC and eldritch blast is considered to be spell level 9 for DC purposes. The way you can improve your chance to get full damage on the eldritch blast pact damage is by boosting your DC or lowering the appropriate save through a debuff. "DC" is the equivalant of "to hit" for casters.
For example, I am fey so my relevant save is reflex. I can increase my DC by getting the max charisma, evocation buffing items, feats, enhancements, ED, etc. I can debuff my enemies reflex save (increasing chance to hit and do full damage) with evocation augmentation twisted in, solid fog clickies, etc. Aura of menace is another example of something available to warlocks that lowers enemy saves.
For great old one, debuffs against will are crushing despair clickies/scrolls and mind fog.
Also, not related to this question but the post in general, I craft mobile ring of sonic lore with 2 slots and use that even in lower epic levels. +2 stacking dodge and the lore - it's a true gem available only through cannith crafting.
