Max spell crit %?

I've been thinking about the tainted scholar capstone and am wondering how high spell crit % can get. So far I have:

Spell Critical %
5 base
1 mental toughness
1 improved mental toughness
1 epic mental toughness
9 arcane critical epic active past life (fire, cold, electric, acid, sonic only)
5 eldritch seeker (soul eater core 5)
3 spell tearing (soul eater tier 5)
2 insight spell lore (Libram of Silver Magic or Thunder-Forged 2 hander)
3 insight (Golden Orb of Death has 5 total insight)
22 Thunder-Forged tier 3
1 ToEE crafted (has 23 total - fire, cold, electric, acid only)
53% Total

How can this number be increased? Keep in mind, I'm considering this for use with the tainted scholar capstone, so that means no spell crit enhancements from other classes.

How can this number be increased? Keep in mind, I'm considering this for use with the tainted scholar capstone, so that means no spell crit enhancements from other classes.

Another question, are the spell crit damage bonuses from the tainted scholar cores cumulative? So can you get a total of +60% spell crit damage with the capstone? I thought I recall reading a dev quote saying that they were cumulative, but in-game confirmation would be great.

Course this only affects elemental damage, so fey pact kind of loses out I think.

Only messed a round with it a little on Lam. Read through the description, and noted that it wouldn't help with all of my eldrich blasts. Can't remember which parts it didn't cover though.

I hear it doesn't work with EB. Someone should test it with the Aura though. I've found that Aura works very differently from EB and does seem to be counted as a spellcast.

ToEE weapons have 1% more than TF (23%) - only acid, fire, cold and electric obviously, so not sure if that helps :D
Golden Orb of Death has 5% insight lore.

Thanks for the additional sources everyone. Added them to the OP. 53% is the current max based on the sources provided, 10% of which only applies to elemental damage. Anything else that's missing?

Can anyone confirm if the tainted scholar core spell crit damage bonuses are cumulative?

I have a 28 warlock with tainted scholar capstone, and yes they stack to +60

Eldritch Burst seems to be counted as a spell cast, I mean it is I guess, but yeah.

Various builds aura and EB Chain and have run Emp Magic twisted in. Most builds powered it up, although one or more did not, but cannot remember why. Mostly using Tainted and Enlighten trees in various amounts. At one point need to relog to get back medium armor and another to get the light damage on EB...

I am using utterdark to make blast damage use light spell power, but it doesn't proc empyrean magic, no matter if it's the single target or chain.

Looks like that aura proc empyrean magic. At least that's what someone else told me.

Thats because EB is a lvl 9 FORCE spell. If you change the type to light dmg (via utterdark) is still considered a lvl 9 FORCE spell.

Aura, is a light spell (is never considered force on the first place) so it procs empyrian magic.

Basically, things that procs on generics spells and/or force spells procs on EB in any form.

i hope it clears this up.
