I'm working on a warlock life for my bladeforged Shiradi Sorc and came up with the following idea:

15 Warlock / 3 Paladin / 2 Monk Bladeforged Shiradi (or maybe 14 / 3 / 3 for 2nd Henshin core?)

Pact: Fey

Bladeforged: Self Healing through Communion of Scribing SLA, Construct Immunities, CON bonus (no CHA penalty)

Paladin: CHA bonus to saves, Aura Saves, Defender Stance, Lay on Hands, Immunity to Fear

Warlock: Eldritch Blast with Light Armor, Utility Spells (DD, Teleport,...)

Monk: Evasion, Feats, Force Spellpower + Crit from Henshin, (mountain stance?)

Shiradi: Damage Procs and Nerve Venom

Gear: Lantern Ring for extra Light damage on cast along with light spellpower

Stats: Max CHA, rest CON/INT

Feats: Maximize, Empower, Mental Toughness, Improved Mental Toughness, Quicken, Evocation Focus, 2x Epic Warlock Feats, Epic Mental Toughness, Mithral Body(?), Monk: Deflect Arrows, Resilience (? Does this affect Eldritch Blast?)

Looks to me like tons of survivability combined with lots of free spammable damage.
Any thoughts?

IMO caster warlock should be pure because of the TS core enhancements.I would say pal, fvs, wiz is ok for splash..but Monk is very bad splash choice nowdays..especially for warlock cause u cant choose the great one pact.

Terrible build, terrible split.
Lack of understanding how pacts work as well.

Tell me, how do you plan to do that split with aligment restrictions?
Also why 15 levels? Why monk?
All choices dont really make much sense to me /:

Looks like the Fey Version is working with alignments. The fiend not so much due to paladin it seems. Thanks. Don't have warlock in the planner so this is all theory building from scratch. Can't test it on Lamaland since it is down right now. Will change the OP accordingly.

Why monk? As i wrote above it still provides some force spellpower and crit and also for evasion with the saves from paladin (and maybe resilience? will have to test that) and also provides two extra feats. That's one layer of defense before MRR.

15 Levels of warlock with fey pact give Abundant Step.

That abudant step is on a 30 sec cd, while being very nice due to its invisi effect that acts as shadowscale, i dont think its worth it on shiradi builds.
But it depends on preference, i myself prefer deeper splashing with other classes and use 12 warlock or 20 warlock as shiradi core.

Yes it sure is personal preference. I'm used to Abundant Step from my other chars (as well as Evasion) so i would miss it badly (it makes some quests much easier) but you still can drop abundant step and go 14/3/3 for one more Henshin core and still 1d6 more blast damage than a 12 warlock and also 1 level 5 spell (has anyone tested if Tenser's affects Eldritch Blast?) if you don't want it.

maybe resilience

I was thinking about Resilience as well. It certainly looks nice (in theory) for some warlock builds.

Oh, you could still take fiend pact. But you could never toggle the pact damage on. Not sure, but you might be prevented from using your lev 15 pact ability too. Maybe the pact spells would be unusable as well. Again, not entirely sure.

Actually now I'm thinking of making a lawful good fiend pact just to test that out.

I was able to make a chaotic good fiend pact okay but couldn't toggle on the pact at all. They really need to restrict it from the outset, even if you can use spells.

They wanted to. I think this implementation is what they had to come up with to solve that hurdle. After all, at char creation alignment is one of the last choices you make, yet feat choices are the 3rd. I know they'd been having trouble figuring out how to alignment restrict the pacts before it went live.

Wonder if the pact specific abilities like Through Through Hell are alignment restricted too?

Primal Avatar (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/461900-Supreme-Cleavage-Test-Build)

You are scratching the surface of what can be done with a warlock. Wait a few days for inspiration to hit. Yes, adding BF Monk/Pali to anything makes a good character, but just not one with style.

While i don't doubt that your build is powerful i have to admit that i never was into tree builds and this builds goal is to be a shiradi caster and no melee. Otherwise i would probably use a PDK Warlock/Bard with Swashbuckling, Aura and CHA to damage.

From what i hear from others Resilience as well as Tenser's should work with the Blast so you get tons of saves with this build as well as evasion. A friend also told me that using an alignment change works even with a paladin so i probably could use the free alignment change to be able to still use the fiend pact after paladin levels are done. So i have to completely disagree with Blackheartox. This is neither a bad split nor bad choices in my opinion. It should work quite fine. I will make a test Character soon.

Doesn't look like this is an option. Just logged into a paladin and checked the DDO Store. When filtering for things my character can use, no alignment change options show. And when I toggle it to "show all", every alignment change item in the DDO Store says "This item can not be purchessed" while logged into a paladin. And when I go to view the specific info on, say, a Lawful Neutrality alignment change... Well, the description reads as follows:

This object, the Tablet of Lawful Neutrality, can permanently change a character's alignment to Lawful Neutral. Can only be used in taverns. IMPORTANT: Cannot be used by Barbarians or Bards, as they must remain non-lawful, and cannot be used by Paladins, as they must remain Lawful Good.

Also, why no input other than trolling? Why troll?

Agreed. He could have explained everything and still said all that without saying it. People these days.

I have bought the free alignment change on another character already. It is BtA so you can transfer it. I haven't tried to use it yet and if it works it is probably not WAI. If it wasn't for free i wouldn't pay so many TP only to change the alignment much like i would not pay a Lesser +1 Heart to change the first Iconic Class level but some people still do it to get optimal builds so it seems to be an option for them.

I bought an alignment change, but that's cause I missed the free one. That, and after using an old free LR +20 I had after some class rebalance or another I'd picked Fiend pact without remembering that char was a lawful good pale master. Seriously, a lawful good necromancer? A warforged necromancer who's so obsessed with death and undeath, that it's greatest ambition is to find a way to become a living wraith was lawful good?!

Thoughts from getting one to 8, playing a pure 28 on llamma and starting to working on a 25 fvs -> warlock warforged (played like, 3 quests).

Survivability on the warforged in EH is good enough that even getting held isn't a huge deal, and my gear is total ****. If you're held the aura keeps ticking and kills whatever is bothering you usually. I could see doing pallie 2 or monk 2 to pick up saves, though if they ever fix pal to cap cha mod to only pal levels, that'll be less good than monk. On llamaland I was tooling around EE in iffy gear setups and doing okay, even with no EPL/bad slots/etc -- and that was before the blast damage die feats.

You won't be monk stancing if you're in mithril body. Still, +3 to all saves, 2 feats (even if melee only feats) and evasion ain't bad. You trade off the capstone which is quite a pile of HP and some good MP/SP.

Henshin isn't the way to go to up spell power. Go 2 FvS for that and pick up scourge and some better crit. Note if you're fiend pact, scourge is SP for all the damage types you do. Every last one. Yum!

Still, I turned my 25 fvs into a 25 warlock (+20 freebie heart ftw!) because while the sp from scourge is nice, it is only about +5-10% damage at that point. 8d6+9d4 (ish) to 9d6+10d4 is ~10% damage too (less after feats and talents). Oh and some MP. And some SP. And HP. Feels like pure is a winner here to me, but it isn't so overwhelming that you couldn't splash successfully.

One thing I have to say, I'm not really sure that will save are lower then fortitude at least in toee. As well want to see how cc is going to work on new amrath... I can imagine crazy SR check.

Fey for me is terrible, this game has evading mob everywhere now, even animated object have evasion. At least fiend will always do half damage.

I agree, how do you like dc casting in temple btw?
I plan to do a full drow for my last warlock once i finish testing this build which is a template, also if you dont mind to contact me in game, want to tell you about this crazy idea that il do for final, want input from as many people as possible.
So far, couple peops really like it since it is crazy heh

Will do.

As per dc in temple i feel that my sounburst it's working well and it's fortitude. Confusion & howl of terror that have nearly same dc not so much. I love evard black tentacles, it work well everywhere but dunno what is the DC, no idea.

Yea description is pretty bad.
Does the damage scale for epic on tenta?
Since they dont state how it goes damage wise i couldnt figure since i leveld only to 20 and it didnt work on lama.
Simple test would be to swap to draconic and see /but im not sure if draconic affects caster levels of warlock no idea, maybe they kept it in primal sphere

Or can try to use a 3set abi

to be honest never checked the damage of tentacles, I just use it as a pure cc, usually cc spell don't do damage so I didn't pay attention :)
