What is said on the tin.
When you activate the Eldritch Blast stance, the game consider you "unequip" your weapons (although the benefits stay), thus not making you qualify as "wielding a staff or orb".
I know many people don't use this enhancement, but it is very cheap (3 AP on Human or Archmage) for +10 Spell Power. Please, take a look.
