please add an option to buy a shot of drink, restoring 3000 spell points.

I'll pay the plat, but I can do without standing in a pub for 2 min while they slowly increase.

one shot, move on.

you can even add a 2sec stun to it like the kragon ham ;)

thank you.

Yeah, I'd be fine dropping 100plat, or even 1kpp to get 3k sp back quickly (Enchanted distillate is 50pp, iirc). As OP states, it's just quality of life, not game breaking, or hard to add.

just go onto your guild ship, one with the banquet hall, and click on the buff bar button - and you can go about your business and get all your spell points back in seconds.

Extra load screen, and I don't know about your experiences, but mine are that the interim deck levels between the top deck and the Cargo Bay are laggy as crazy. And finally, doesn't help if you don't want to go to your airship.

They have had those for a long time from the DDO store. Not talking about in quest anyway.

Understand the extra load screen but /death (bind to airship) - push button - return to q. (Unless it is in the middle of the demonweb or something like that).

Rarely spend any time on deck 1-2-3-4, normally just top deck and cargo hold; but those times have been below decks normally lag free.

I realize some people have limited play time. but this idea is just another way watering down the game.

You know, I saw the OP, thought it seemed like a nice easy to implement thing with little to no down-side, really only helpful during cove, after a wilderness area or when you die, but /shrug. Personally, I never bind at all, and I am not going to start binding, much less to an airship.

Since you guys hate the idea of it so much, I withdraw my support. I can just deal with the occasional 3 -5 minutes in a bar.

I don't hate it - just offered alternatives in case it doesn't become real.

As far as Crystal Cove and Mabar - don't they sell Coffee or something like that? So anything that removes revenue has a lower chance of being live.

Neither am I.

I am saying put rest shrines in every tavern with a pay plat to use interface...
Don't have it as cheap as the existing vendor potions.. lets say 500 plat/use... or give that function upgrade to the silver flame guy that just stands there bored out of his mind.
Its the quickest way to restore SP regardless of how many you have, clears neg levels, death penalties, clickies.

Could even do the same thing with guild buffs.. a plat per buff user interface.. like the dead house P vendor that used to buff before guildship buffs were available...
Too bad House P never got updated to mirror guild buffs.

In tavern Shrines lets players have access to faster restore and repeat for those that like to play in the PvP zone.
and.. you still have the bar keep for those that cant afford the full rest and to buy/repair stuff.

That would be nice.

Bonus points if the implement it like the shrine in the restrooms in partycrashers :)

IMHO, all tavern consumables should be revamped to always fill a player's maximum hit/spell point total regardless of which menu option it is or how high that maximum is. The main difference would be how fast it fills it.

Buy the Stale Bread, and it fills your Health up to full, at the rate of 5% of your total number of hit-points per tick.
Buy the Roast Boar Shank. it fills 35% of your total number of hit-points per tick.
Murky Water would fill your spell points at the rate of 5% total number per tick.
Glowing Blue Vials at the rate of 40% per tick.

The Enchanted Gallandra options would fill them at the rate of 50% per tick.

The numbers are just examples, but I really think they should all keep working, at one price and one purchase, until the meter of choice is full.
This would be a fantastic quality of life fix, even if you jacked the price of the upper-half of the menu's prices by 50% or more. The trashier pub food would still work slower, and the four-star menu would work much better. The premium would be how fast they work.. but they would all fill the bar to the max.
