What if they have actually figured out the problem, solved it, implement the fix today, and Ghallanda stops crashing? Would this afternoon's downtime be worth it?

In weeks to come you'll have more to say, because you still have weeks of work ahead you to fix Ghallanda? I know you said the Ghallandians would get some kind of compensation when all is said and done, but maybe now is a good time to throw us an xp stone or something. Seems like a number of even the calm reasonable folks are starting to get agitated.

Yep! And speaking of rekindling the old feel of DDO, can we bring back Vast and Mysterious as well. Good times :)

Actually, this downtime worked out great, as I was able to help a guildie score a desired weapon from the Sharn Syndicate chain, and then log out a few minutes before the sever went down. Then I was able to watch the US Men's National team beat the Netherlands for the first time...stellar day so far :)

I'm not sure if its a coincidence but i just played and had fast load time, no hitching and generally a smooth ride.

Here I was thinking I better stay off line with my possibly corrupt characters, but turned out that that it was not me after all. Quite a relief anyway and I am looking forward to playing again and if loading times improved it would be awesome (but I am not counting chickens).
