I have a level 15 and 20 barbarian, just for off time fun from my main. One is a Twf dwarf barbarian that uses daxes and the other is a THF horc barbarian with a great axe or falchion. Both first lives and not very serious, just vanilla traditional.
I did a swf and orb barb after u24 in the vein of PDK 18 1 fvs 1 ftr. It was pretty smooth but it didn't feel very barbarianish. I'm running my second completionist life, 14 fvs 4 ftr 2 pally first time, and 15 fvs 3 pally 2 ftr this time. I feel so stupidly invincible with my extremely high saves and emp heal heals but I it just doesn't seem to be my thing.
So back to the question. What is it like to be a completionist Twf or THF barb at cap. Is Twf working out better now since the update or has THF been nerfed touch. What are your opinions and why? I've watched the Zoda, and Red Sonja videos, so I want to read it in words.
My opinion:
Twf pulled out ahead even before update. I feel like mobs die quicker without the GBs. I feel like I get almost as much crit damage on my main hand as I do with a Gaxe with virtually everything identical.
