Yeah, that's right, it makes me want to TR. See, I've never really been all that big a fan of Shroud Grinding. My playtimes are funky, and can vanish altogether for weeks. But due to the funky, I'm often playing during times when getting raids going is painful at best.
But the ToEE ML7 weapons? Even just at T1, when they get their AoE proc, they become some of the best twink weapons for TRs ever. And earlier to equip than GS weaps. This means my TR lives can be less painful, and without the Shroud grind. Even an Iconic life benefits (especially a Shadar-Kai life, where you could quite easily be wielding a fire and water dagger, making the save on the procs be fort and will respectively, so they'll shred early epic drow as well.)
That AoE proc is the big deal. Look at the list of things that can do those. They're all epic. Every one of them. (T3 Alchemical is the 'lowest' source before ToEE.) Gonna run hard or elite Wheloon? That proc will bring sweet relief to those massive spawns. There's a few other places where overwhelming numbers are the name of the game, and those weapons will turn the tide nicely. (And on a windstance unarmed monk, can probably get pretty obnoxious.)
So suddenly, TRing a lot sounds good again, instead of just ERng and hanging out in epic levels.
