I recently came back to the game after a few months absence, TR-ed into a mechanic/assassin/harper spy and was hot to trot.

There had been a change (which honestly may have happened while I still was playing) to Hold for Reinforcements. Coyle is optional!
Being the genius I am, I go into a corner, enter sneak mode, and return in 15 minutes for my cool 10k experience.
It's possible that people can guess where this is going.

After 15 minutes I return. I'm at full health and sneaky, but the quest isn't done - I had totally forgotten the requirement of killing the flame reaver.
I sneak out from the bookcase where I'm hiding and observe the room is filled with 80 mobs.

Several glass spiders see me - green alert, so now do other spiders - yellow alert. Something hits me - red alert. I manage to right-click the render on the third attempt.
It's selected but has decided to run away from me because flame reaver AI is infuriating (just ask the one in Tempest Spine who refuses to accept the existence of bridges). I press Know the Angles and backwards kite.
The bolts hit but are only giving a single number of damage because red alert.
Backwards kiting is awesome, so the reaver eventually dies, completing the quest. I try and teleport scroll out of there but UMD Success + Conc Fail = dead rogue.

Good times. Reminds me of why I like DDO.
