Epic drops the heroic ingredients to upgrade the 2nd tier in the elemental nodes.
Managed to get 50 Fly Agaric Mushrooms and went to craft but they are not Epic Fly Agaric Mushrooms so you can't make any tier 2 item.
The epic ingredients to make the 2nd tier items do not appear to drop anywhere.
I have not checked Air or Water.
Epic Earth and Fire Nodes done lots of times, Killed the Fire Dragon once the Fire Giant 2x the Green Dragon 3x and The Stone Giant 3x and of course the end chest for clearing the node lots of times.
All dropped the Heroic version of the mushrooms not the epic.
Maybe Water and Air are dropping the Epic versions?
Complete waste of time.
