what do you non-max SR occult slayer EE barbs do against beholders and other level drainers? do beholders dispel eternal potion of deathward? I'm really thinking about hanging up my Frenzy and Death Frenzy and going back to Occult Slayer after running Mark of Death

it is a heroic axe but the axe of famine (http://ddowiki.com/page/Axe_of_Famine) is a nice way to fight one's way out of level drains and stat damage.

Deathward + spell absorption items for anti-magic beholders (spell absorption negates the buff dispel, you keep ALL your buffs as long as your spell absorption doesn't run out).

Moar DPS for doomspheres (restoration pots from druid commendation turn ins also help, but are hard to get to use them regularly - use them before your Con hits 0).

You can get Panacea pots (http://ddowiki.com/page/Panacea) from collectables. Unfortunately, I have no idea where the collectables come from.

Alternatively, carry Restoration scrolls (UMD 32) and either don't rage (...) or dismiss rage when you need a restore.

If you've got good twitch skills, I believe the con drain ray is in the front of the beholder, so you could theoretically minimise the chances of train by attacking from the side/behind or using Deception items to turn them around.

For 3 medium ebberron dragonshards you can get a trinket that has 20 non rechargeable charges of greater restoration. The guy is in the marketplace near the hireling vendors.

I'm going to have to retract this bit... I could've sworn I saw someone reputable recommend Panacea pots specifically for GoP's CON drain, but someone tried it on the wiki and it didn't remove ability damage. It apparently only removes ability debuffs like Enfeebled, etc.
