I'm a fairly inexperienced player, at least to higher levels, who's recently come back to the game. I'd really like some suggestions on a build for the current update. I've searched and searched, but the builds I'm finding are either years out of date or need content (classes, races, etc) I don't have yet. The only "extra" content I have currently is the Drow race and 32pt builds, so no tomes, past lives, etc. I'd like the build to be solo-able and I'd like to be able to find and disarm traps. Other than that I'm open to any class or race. I am new to the new enhancement system too, so suggestions for choices would be really helpful. I know some of you out there have incredible builds, but is there any chance someone experienced can help a noobish player with a non-monk/fvs/druid/artificer/warforged/tome/past-life/etc build? I would SO appreciate it!

Welcome back to the game; I hope you're enjoying it.
I think one of the reasons there are fewer updated character builds on the forum is that many of the current "end-game" builds are fairly simple to build. Pure bard, SWF, spend your enhancement points in swashbuckling tree, win. Pure barbarian, spend your enhancement points in Ravager, win. Pure paladin, win.
But to answer your question specifically, I think EllisDee37's builds for new players are very solid and helpful. His Tempest Trapmonkey for new players (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/423116-Tempest-Trapmonkey-for-new-players) and his Pale Trapper for new players (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/422622) would both fit your requirements for being solo'able and able to trap. If you don't mind giving up trapping the Kensei Warpriest (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/426765) is a very fun and innovative way to play as a self-healing THF fighter/cleric.
I hope these are helpful and give you some information to get your started. Good luck.
