Thank you for what you have all created. it's been a big chunk of the last 7 years for me.
I'm a dedicated dnd loyalist and ddo ranks among the top 3 dnd creations I've invested my time into.
PnP, Spellfire and DDO.
Again. Despite my occasional rant I really do appreciate you.

ahhh ,a posative Mote,woops- Note. Just what i was thinking we needed as well in my flower sniffer thread,i just posted
I want to also wish DDO a Happy Birthday. I appreciate the staff and thank them for all of their work on the game. I hope the staff keeps in mind that we criticize the game because we love it and want it to continue to keep our attention.

Closing in on nine years of play time for me as well (wasn't a launch day player...thanks to my ex wife)! And I've tried almost all of the games that have come out since DDO launched, yet here I remain! Thanks to the cast and crew that makes it all possible!

9 years DDO, you had me with the welcoming intro and ever since. Through countless hysterical and traumatic deaths (in game) we have gone through the highs and lows. May the years continue to rise.

Kobold also played Neverwinter Online. Kobold come back to DDO in pretty short order. Kobold remember Waterworks.

Yup, thanks for all the work put into this game. I've been enjoying Turbine games since 1999 starting with Asheron's Call.

The fact that people are so passionate (positively or negatively) says a lot about the game itself.
Happy Birthday DDO... Looking forward to at least a few more years of fun!
To the Devs - Although the game has issues I think the direction now and the level of interaction and open communication is better than it has been in a long time. Thanks for your continued efforts.

Been playing since April 2006, and it's been a fun ride! Cheers to the staff and players with love for the game!

I've lived 45 years on this planet...
And 9 of those years, I've averaged 10-12 hours a week playing THIS game... That's 20% of my life where THIS game was my primary entertainment.
Thank you devs.

This hands down the best game I've ever played. I only complain and rant because I love the game so much. If I didn't care, I wouldn't bother to post.

Thanks everyone for playing over the years!
I have been playing since mid 2009 so almost 6 years.
I rant, scream, annoy, and tick many people off with my posts.
However, its because I really do like this game and want it to be the best it can be. This is because it is unique and something pretty special for anyone who likes DnD.
Quote from my wife who recently started playing "wow the game is really fun, but kinda addicting".....maybe another loyal player.

Came as a froob and remember my eyes bugging out at the +2 TOME in the 6 year cake. Now have all the packs, bought inven, char slots, pets, cosmetic gear, "emergency components" and more. Plan to stay as long as I can, I've made some great friends here. >THACO< >SDK<

Most specially, I'd like to thank the artists! I know what is involved in 3D building & texturing, and I have always been blown away by the work & the mood created by them.
Please keep up the good work, we appreciate you!!

I received Asheron's Call as a Christmas Gift in 2004. I never knew what an MMO was. I started looking things up online and came across "coming soon Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach."
I pre-ordered the box (and got a really cool cloth map), joined the old forums, and waited everyday until the Beta announcement. When it came, I dropped my subscription for Asheron's Call, and have been with DDO ever since. Thank you for lots and lots of great memories, making new friends, and for being so much fun. Keep up the great work.
Oh and before I forget... Bring in GNOMES, GNOMES, and more GNOMES.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

I complain and praise so often because I have that much love for DDO. It's hard to keep quiet when you love something ^^
I love (mostly... but somedays I could beat someone) interacting with the people who love this game as much as I do and I want to have many more years of fun (and random acts of frustration) hanging out with you all!
so far the journey has been wonderful...Happy Anniversary!

Happy birthday, DDO!
This game has been my primary source of joy (besides family, sci&fi novels and the Spurs) for the last 5 years. Thanks to all the past and present staff at Turbine and, most of all, thanks to all the great fellow players I´ve met along the way (though I still solo too much).
Here´s a toast and a smoke for many many more years of DDO!
Edit: I´ve just realized that the mimic event is our birthday gift... :(

To everyone involved with this game whether it's designing a new challenge to making the world so amazing...right down to the tea lady who supplies you with chocolate biscuits to keep your sugar levels high while you fix things (if one should exist), design and generally run things.
Happy Birthday and many many thanks!

Happy Ninth Birthday.
I have definitely noticed a new communication effort being put forth from Turbine. Thanks for the communication.
While this 9th birthday pales in comparison to the 8th birthday, I do enjoy the mimic animation. I really enjoyed when I popped a chest and the mimic took off after someone else in the party that was just standing way back there.

To all the monsters I've slain (and who've slain me)
To all the NPC's who been grateful
Thank you!

Happy Birthday DDO!
Best game I've ever played.
Happy Birthday!
Happy 9th Anniversary DDO!!
My original 10 players on the Fernia server thank you!!
My 17 alts on Ghallanda thank you!!!
My 28 alts on Khyber thank you!!
I have been with you since 1st week of retail launch and loved for the most part every hour of play.
I am passionate and somewhat obsessive about this game.
Though I am not proud of it my longest consecutive play session was 32 hours (yes...my wife was certainly nagging me to go to bed and i was running blindly into a corner.)
A heartfelt Happy 9 years to you!

Despite all the rants you guys generally do a great job!
Keep working on improving the performance, fixing exploits, consolidate servers, bring in more new players, and bringing back old players, and this game could still yet be the best MMORPG on the net, even after 9 years! :-)
May your best days still be in front of you!

DDO. Let's see, to me it's the greatest D&D product since WotC took over the helm from TSR. The greatest MMO that was ever created. And the greatest multi-player game, Period.
I've been a member of this community since 2005, so a bit over 9 years for me. It's been a great addition to my life, and I'm proud to say it. It's provided healing and entertainment for me in my life and now my daughter in more ways than I could have imagined. Thank you to the HUNDREDS of Turbine devs, programmers, artists, testers and all those folks behind the scene that have put their talents to work for the betterment of the game, and our community.

Another anniversary of our time together. I have gotten tired a few times but I am still here helping all the noobs and adding texture to the game. Try to not nerf us too much and we will try to work with you to keep this the best game around. 60 yrs old and been playing D&D since 1975 and DDO since Beta. You have to be good to earn loyalty like that.

Great to see this Kulothar! We have quite a few in our guild that have been playing D&D since then. I started in 1977. Been in DDO since beta myself, and been a happily paying customer since. Do you play on Ghallanda by any chance?

Played D&D back in the day and DDO for 4 years. Been having a blast and wonder why I didn't join when it switched to F2P in 2009. Anyway, happy birthday and here's to many more!

DDO has allowed my son and I to connect with college friends of way back when (the PnP variety) and their sons. A weekly guild night of adventure and re-acquaintance has been had for several years now. Thank you for that and a way for my son and myself to play together.
