Champion Farming

Do people actually farm champions?

If so, what is your rate an hour (approximately)?

Where (if you don't mind disclosing)?

I just spent the last hour'ish and seemed to be averaging about ~100 to 150 (didn't keep an exact record) solo but it was dreadfully boring. Ok, guild renown was decent but...

10,000/~100 = 1000 which means (to me at least) I was wasting my time.

On a final note: I'm going to keep better track of the next session.

I did some farming a while ago:
EH DA, solo'd the first wave with a level 22 favoured soul. I'd get roughly 4 chests and 1 drop per run, for a total of 8-12 remnants. I didn't really time it, but 10-15 minutes per run so 50-60 per hour.
It's a steady income, but doesn't exactly compare to what others have found. Sadly I have no heroic toons atm.

Zombie corridor in Haunted Halls seems ideal to me. Not actually tried farming it yet though.

If you have an appropriate level character, Tangleroot chain on elite yielded to me over 200 remnants in less than an hour.

not me.. its just not so fun to farm these.. and not very profitable imo.. at least i won't be able to farm 10k in one week..

Doing heroic elite at max level 18 should yield almost double return per run. And mobs die faster. I have dualboxed it few times last week on an evoker bard, added a hire to heal the dualbox. Worked quite nicely, in my experience comparable return to EE HH Juju room solo. And well, not everyone can make it to the juju room alive.

I don't have a toon @level 18 for DA (elite) currently but I will keep it in mind when I get there.

Ok, didn't know that. Will try a run on Elite and see if I can survive long enough to empty the chests. Once I feel in the mood again that is.

Heh. No toon on that level, but yea the whole remnant thing IS etremely reminiscent of FarmVille isn't it :P

People farm chests for renown/tome chance and get remnants as a bonus. The absolute best (and most fun) place is Haunted Halls, but belly of the beast and Devil Assault are also decent.

Oh my. Sadly, I have a level 28 PM (not so good vs undead) and a level 28 haggle bard (even worse :P ). Haunted Halls on EE is so not in the cards for me.

Make sure you get the portal to transport down the hill from the quest. Makes a 10-15 min run into 45 seconds?

I Dream of Jeets. The Spa Fantasy. Cellimas and the 3 other ladies around Jeets are all orange named. The non-Cellimas ladies will continue to respawn for some time as long as you don't kill Cellimas. Good chance they spawn as Champions and as orange named, drop chests.

Certainly not end game farming, but worth at least one run while leveling through Heroic.
