Well, it's been the sort of night that makes me just want to cancel my sub and uninstall, but here goes: tried to run DA tonight. 10 minutes into first try got red connection symbol in instance 2049 (I know, I know, forgot to check first) and got booted [no, that is not usual for me]. Relaunched, took a couple of minutes to clean up old connection, got back in but had been punted to Marketplace. Second try, instance 2051, went OK at first, then got 4 sessions of 5 minute lag freeze. On last one, red connection symbol, server connection lost. Couldn't get back in, stuck at cleaning up old connection for 10 min. Killed session via Task Manager, logged into another toon on another server no problem. Came back to Khyber, stuck again. Retried a couple of times, current wait time is now over 30 minutes.

Update: while writing this, got the "server full" message, which should never happen as a VIP. That did seem to clear things, though, as I was able to get in after that. Wouldn't be averse to some form of customer service for my wasted evening though...

This kind of stuff just can't continue without DDO hemorrhaging players. Warlocks sound neat. Laggy Warlocks not so much. Fix lag first.

I'm on Khyber too and I got several freezes while running some Epic Fleshmaker's. I also got disconnected like you.

Also, like you, I quit after I just couldn't take it anymore.

Suffered from the same issues as OP. Solution (for me at least):

Command line console (as admin, right click, run as admin)

ipconfig /dnsflush OR ipconfig /flush dns <-- depending on your version of windows

open ddo, log into a different server than khyber and then close DDO once you get to character select screen.

re-open ddo and log into khyber as usual.

* Haven't had any lag issues following above after the redonkulous lag disconnect BS that turd-bine has yet to fix.

This worked wonder for me and another Guildie. It is slightly dated, please note the following:

* It states there are three files, but lists four. There are in fact four
* There are also two Dungeons and Dragons file names. I did not delete those
* The "*.exe" extension was not shown on my laptop, but the file names were otherwise the same

Hope this helps!
