P.S. please do not flame in a discussion regarding dragons (lol).
No need we all slay them already

Having a class that specializes in fighting one particular type of creature is kind of silly. There will be some content where you shine, but most (there really aren't a lot of dragons) where you're just a fighter with a little fluff added for thematic purposes. You have to add new classes that add something new to the game.
Yes, paladins and clerics specialize in fighting undead/evil outsiders, but that's only one aspect of the class; they're not entirely focused on one creature type, they just happen to have a little buff in that general direction and function perfectly well outside of quests that don't have undead/evil outsiders.

Here you go. Make a Ranger for it if they have a Favored Enemy for Dragons? Then add some Dragonbane weapons and carry resistance items for their breath, and you got a specialist Dragon Hunter. I don't think the reptile fav enemy applies, but it should.

Are Dragons included in Reptile?
If not then it might be a good idea to add Dragons to Favored Enemy. Something to write the Devs about, and an easy add on.

A full-on class? Probably no point.
A non-class enh. tree like Harper? Maybe, if they decide to develop the Tyranny of Dragons storyline.

I'd really like to hear the story of how Commander Riker became a dragon-hunting cleric.

That dragon is too small to brag about.

That picture makes me sad for that poor little dragon. It's a baby. It took five of them to kill a little baby dragon.
As for the idea, it strikes me as more of a role-playing concept for a toon than a pratical class addition to the game.

Mired in Kobolds, Prey on the Hunter, Tor, EGH Wilderness, Thunderpeaks...
It seems DDO already has several classes proficient at hunting dragons ;)

Yeah for a dragon that size, I would subdue and make it a pet. Then become a dragon rider. :D

I wouldn't expect them to become completely useless VS. non dragons.
Think Ranger VS. non favored enemy.
Or
Paladin VS. non Evil enemy.
Dragon Hunters would be capable of fighting non dragon enemy just fine but, likely get extra bane type damage etc... Vs. Dragons.
I think it would be better off as a tree like Harper than a class IMO
