Champs not dropping chests or items.

Since yesterdays hotfix i have not seen one chest drop for champs.

What did they do?
because it's unlisted change

Tried EH/EE 15 quests anywhere from lvl 23 - 27 tested so far not 1 drop. whats the deal turbine you got this thing going and no drops....

In Sarlona Server, if someone else is getting drops name the quest and your lvl please.

lvl28, Haunted Halls EH dropping, tho mostly 1d3 per chest..
EE HH too, just tested Estrels room, 3chest. pathetic remnant drop :D

I've still been seeing them, so long as the conditions for them are met (you and everyone in the group has to be at or under the quest level).

I will go test that place right now and see if it's dropping for me.

I guess that you have to be ON level for every quest to even have a chance to get something from a champ now....

GG turbine still waiting on my monk fix for a total time of 1.75 years but yet you find ways to nerf nerf nerf not fix fix fix. (med of war and str of vit cancel eachother out)

FWIW, I've never seen champs drop anything while soloing. Decent rates in groups though, seen drops of anywhere from 1 to 28 remnants per champ. Heroic, BB range.

If someone is serious about farming them, heroics is the way to go. Easier time in elites, way better drop-rates than epic hard.

Ok got 1 drop 1/10 just a remnant drop on epic necro LVL 27 on a 28 lvl toon
so they did make unlisted changes again thx all. truth i thought it was just bad luck but man at least list these things . Thx again turbine for a nerf and not a fix and a unlisted nerf at that. How about some fixes for stuff people bought that still to this date don't work? like my monk?

You have to be at level for the quest.

"Mysterious Remnants can only appear if the difficulty-modified quest level is equal to our higher than the player character's level that killed the Champion."

Edit: Didn't notice till now that they need to proofread the notes better. our vs or

Since there is zero change here for Heroic parties, I'll assume you're referring to Epic parties. Out of curiosity, may I ask what the rewards are that you find valuable enough to restrict your Epic level party's level span?

I've been fully aware of the @level requirement for Rem & Chest drops, but haven't felt any inspiration to limit the my Epic party's level span to ensure drops - and from what I've seen on the LFM panel, neither has much of anyone else. I still see the usual limits for BB, but in Epics you can get BB while still preventing Champ rewards.

Don't get me wrong, loosening up the level requirements would be great - I'm a packrat hoarder and would certainly like to have more of these Remnants taking up storage space + more vendor loot chests - I just don't see it actually effecting Pug peoples play & parties.

Strange.
In solo, every orange or red champion boss i met dropped a chest.
And rarely non boss champions did not drop at least 1 remnant.

I ran Inferno a couple times yesterday. The oranged named sub-bosses used to spawn a chest almost every time... not anymore.

Also, the chest rate was way lower in Fleshmakers.

This is running on epic hard.

Post the difficulty of the quests you are running... I have a feeling the lowered it for H/EH but it is still fine for E/EE.

Not only that but, the Bravery Bonus spread is higher in Epics. It could at least match that.

Maybe you're not lucky or not at the same or lower level than the quest.

I am playing heroic content and i am not farming, so I am playing many different quests all in hard and elite and i do notice a lot of champions spawning.
Yesterday i ran Redwillows three times and both the named second troll you meet in the route and the hobgoblin caster were champions, all three times.
