Why is Sarlona Unplayable?

not sure, am on sarlona.. but i don't experience much of lag.. well maybe once or twice from time to time. most likely because sarlona have more population..

I regularly play on Sarlona and have no issues for the most part. Also, for me it's one of the best servers to multi-box on. I'm running a cheap $250 Lennovo with Comcast. DDO is the only thing installed on it and I cleared out all the programs I don't need or want from running and/or running in the back ground. I usually multi-box 3 accounts on the Lennovo and another 3 on my laptop.

However, one thing that I found disconcerting when I got the Lennovo and installed DDO on it and it wouldn't work was that all the settings for DDO and my machine were wrong after it installed and had to work with Turbine to manually correct the settings. I then backed up the file in case I ever need to re-install DDO on that machine again. I was very surprised by how far off some of the settings were.

I'm running Windows 8.1 on the Lennovo and Windows 7 on the laptop. For the most part, not counting Wayfinder, Sarlona is the most lag free and problem free for me. I do have issues with lag on Kyber, Thelanis, and G-Land.

EDIT ~ I forgot to mention the folks at Turbine were very helpful when I reached out for help.

Raiding has some strange lag bugs where spawning creatures seem to be when the lag hits. I suspect this is related to champion codeing (just due to timing of when things started going south). in smaller instances the lag is less likely it seems.
