TR'ed to druid few days back, before i did i checked what armors i could use for heroic content, iconic life so decided on DT
I wanted this build to wear heavy armor so crafted that, did do a few runs trying for 2nd tier amp but no luck, anyways i hit lv16 and when i equip i cant transform to wolf as it breaking my oath
Ofc its easy to see on most armors if their metallic or not but im pretty sure dragontouched has always been useable by a druid? or is it because its the plate armor and druid are not proficient in that but i cant see how its that as i do have fighter level for that and had no problems using the white dragon plate

From wiki:
Dragontouched
Effect: This mythical material was created by combining an unknown metal with ancient enchantments known only by the dragons. This material is said to enchant the wielder as if they were protected by +5 armor enchantment. Additionally it provides leather items with additional flexibility and metal armors additional protection.
As you said
I wanted this build to wear heavy armor so crafted that
Dragontouched Plate Armor and Breastplate should be treated as steel (I'm not sure about this) and druids cannot use metal armor.
Try using Dragontouched Leather Armor (http://ddowiki.com/page/Dragontouched_Leather_Armor) instead and see if that works.

Yeh thank you
Really should have researched it better, just assumed the material dragontouched would make it available for all tiers

You were probably thinking of Dragon Scale Armour, which does indeed not break oath :)

I tried to equip the Crystal Cove plate armor... it says it is Mithril... still breaks my oath.
What's up with that?

Mithril is metal
doh. I am not a smart man.
I thought mithril was a "special" type of metal that did not break druids oath.

Dragonscale is your only heavy armor option.
