Losing skill points with ETR Bug

I ETR'ed yesterday and had the common ETR bug where you don't have ability tomes being applied as you level from 1-20.

When I logoff and logon, it fixed the problem and I now see my tomes.

But what about the skills points I lost from not having my +5 INT tome being applied as I leveled up?

The only way to get the skill points back is to reincarnate (any type even lesser) again and make sure the tomes are applying before you finish taking each level.

At this point they are not available until an LR occurs. Now you could submit a ticket and sometimes Turbine will give you an LR heart to redo the process and thus fix your issue.

I've actually got in the habit of checking at Level 3 on the character sheet to make sure my tomes are applying. This is generally when you will first see an issue and for me it is before the Int bonus would get me an additional skill point during the leveling process.

No you start at the last level you completed, with any class changes you had left at that time... The act of logging off mid LR does not restore your tomes unfortunately (in my experience).

AND because the "place between" does not have 100% reliable chat server support you often can not successfully communicate with a GM.

You will be able to put a ticket in for a GM, but when he contacts you some time later you may get nothing from him in your chat box and thus you wont be able to answer his opening question and he will then assume you went AFK, and will close your ticket automatically with the note to resubmit when you're not AFK. BTW if you or anyone reading this ever experiences it PLEASE submit a bug report because this is a sh**ty awful bug.

If you are moving at 30% speed when you get to the place between, you have the bug. If you have have any over level gear on, you have the bug. If you are offered a spell you took at character creation time, you have the bug (this one is a good one since you can't advance at all so you won't lose skill points). If you have the bug, quit immediately and restart.
