Can someone give me a good explanation on how to accomplish this? The wiki is kind of confusing. I currently have my first post level 20 character, a 21 Bard who is working on the Fatesinger destiny. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Choose Epic Destinies from the menu and then choose map view.

There are 4 sphere you are currently working on the arcane sphere. If you stay in the Arcane sphere between now and 28 you will have your 6 million Karma needed to ETR in that sphere.

The destinies in that sphere include fatesinger, draconic and magister. Ideally, when you cap fatesinger move on to draconic and then magister so when you are at 28 you have 3 trees filled in the arcane sphere.

When you hit 28 you can ETR which removes the 6 MM Karma from the arcane sphere. At that point it is probably best to move on to the martial sphere. Fill out all 3 trees and get 6 MM Karma in the martial sphere and then do an ETR Martial. After 4 ETR you will have all trees done and one of each etr in a sphere.

At this point you can pick the best destiny in a sphere to be in when doing your ETR. If you stay at cap for a while you have the option to fill up Karma in another sphere also.

Get 6million xp in a sphere. The Sphere consists of 3 different destinies in your case would be fatesinger/Magistrate/Draconic.

So get 6million karma/xp in your sphere and then you can eTR picking 1 of 3 bonuses you want that comes as a stance. Example Draconic stance gives you a bonus 3% chance to get a crit with most spells on top of your normal percent. Plus it gives 1% energy absorb passively even out of stance. This stacks 3 times.

So now I have 1 epic PL in that sphere. I can either split it and get 1 epic past life in each of Fatesinger/Draconic/Magistrate or I can get 3 in 1 of the areas like just Draconic which is my plan. Get 3 PL's in each sphere and it opens a 4th twist you can use which is nice.

Now when I say Karma/xp It means you get however much xp in each destiny before it maxes...that's the xp part. If you ever Iconic or Heroic TR and you get back to 20 you keep all your xp in every destiny so at lvl 20 you could have every destiny open to you and able to use making you insanely powerful at that level.

Karma is the number in the middle of the said sphere...it builds til it hits 6 million then stops. When you Epic TR it drops to 0 and anytime you get xp it adds to that karma number til it gets back to 6 million.

To get Epic Completionist, you need 3 Epic Pastlives from each of the four Spheres - this can be 3 different EPLs, or 3x the same EPL. The "best way" to achieve this is rather subjective based on personal preferences:

• Some folks prefer to find a single build they like, and use that same build to level through both "good" and "off" Destinies, accepting (though often complaining about) the the consequence of being less/under powered when for example your THF Barbarian is getting Arcane PLs.

• Some people (like myself) prefer to combine the pursuit of Epic PLs & Heroic PLs by making a build suited to the Epic PLs you're going after; for example using a THF Barbarian for Martial, then Reincarnating (acquiring a Heroic Barb PL) into a Wizzy (or Sorc pending preference) to get the Arcane PLs.

One last question. My character is a Shadar-Kai and at 28 I plan to do a Iconic TR. If I have the 6 million xp in a sphere will this also count as a epic past life or do you have to do them separately?

Iconic TR's and Epic Tr's have to be done separately.

For Epic Completionist you don't need any iconic past lives.
For Iconic True Reincarnation you don't need any karma points, don't even need Epic Destinies, just be lvl 28.
You don't lose any karma points on Iconic True Reincarnation.
For Epic Completionist you need Epic Destinies and 3 Epic Past Lives in each Epic Destiny Sphere (4 spheres, so 12 past lives).
Even as first lifer you can be Epic Completionist (don't need any True Reincarnations).

Thanks for the fast reply. There is so much to this game. I think there is more to DDO then any other MMO out there, have played most of them. I started playing DDO at release but went back to EQ and then on to WoW. Wish I had stayed with DDO because of the little things the game offers. Really hope it stays around long enough for me to accomplish the goals I am working on.
