I'm planning to do a couple of Fighter lives starting with a bladeforged and was looking for some advice on builds. I'm not doing PDK because I want the self-healing that comes with communion of scribing, and in general I am just so done with being fleshy.

Easiest solution would be to just go as a 1 paladin/19 fighter(obviously), but then you don't end up with very much SP. I was contemplating grabbing a +1 heart to ditch the 1 paladin, but not sure if its needed. I was thinking of splashing in several Artificer levels to get the advantages that come there.

One build I was toying with is 6 artificer/14 fighter. Or 1 paladin/6 artificer/13 fighter. With any of these the plan is to TR as soon as 28 is reached, so we aren't vying for absolute maximum effectiveness.

I'm also open to fairly deep splashes, just as long as the end result is a fighter :P

just did three fighter past lives and IIRC - they went like this:

1st was WF 12 Fighter - 6 Wizard - 2 Rogue (Int based using Harper Tree). This was a THF greatsword build and it rocked. Took 20 and repeated.

3rd was Bladeforged 12 Fighter - 6 Wizard - 2 Rogue (int based using harper tree). Used a +1 wood to swap in rogue for 1st level for skills. probably didn't need to. Was able to thrive in EE content and trap EE content.

just thoughts.

Don't forget that the bladeforged has a mandatory first level of paladin, for the following i assumed you didn't want to eat a +1 heart for a pastlife
fighter has little to offer past lv 12 (if you're just looking for a life), so 12 as a max
paladin4 (turn undead to fuel divine might) if you don't have twist slots yet, if not 2 levels of pali will do.
if you have the gear to fuel the saves, go monk 6 if not, go full out adam body armor for the prr
