View Full Version : Tenacious Pack - is it working?

When I cast the spell Tenacious Pack it does not show an improvement to my wolf's fortification (by looking at the pet sheet) - and I can't tell whether or not there is an improvement to it's healing amplification either.
The combat log however, states: Your hirelings, pets, summoned creatures, and charmed creatures receive a 30% bonus to fortification and positive energy healing amplification.
Is the spell working?

to test the heal amplification, try using a heal scroll on the pet/hire before / after casting
Edit: I have tested the spell on my level 28 druid. It seems to work.
My pet's fortification increased from 50 to 80. It says enhancement bonus, which is also the bonus commonly granted by fortification items. So perhaps you're encountering some stacking issues.
A heal scroll before Tenacious Pack hit for 192.
After Tenacious Pack it healed 307.
So it gives +60 heal amp.
If anyone is wondering, Crown of Summer gives +30 heal amp. But it does not stack with Tenacious Pack, both effects give the same type of heal amp.

Thanks for the reply. I'm still having issues with the fortification - I changed the pet's armour to one with no fort on it and using the spell then shows an increase of 30% fort. As soon as I change back to the armour with fort on it, it only shows the max fort of that armour which is 75%. Most frustrating! Pet was wearing dragoncraft leather with 75% fort on it, so presumably they don't stack :(

yes, I came to the same conclusion. Tenacious Pack grants enhancement bonus to Fortification, same as the common fort items.
