I don't think anyone has figured this out yet...but I would guess the drop rate on EH or EN would be insanely low.

Mythic items do drop in EN and EH, but at much lower rates than EE.

Any chance on giving us some numbers?

Well I've only managed 4 runs on EE in 2 days with the LFM up practically all day because no one wants to run a quest to to help me get an item.
I dont think the drop rate should be lower on EH at least, EN ok, but this quest on EE is a nightmare with the crazed eyes hitting for over 250 force damage each.
Even when I have all the mobs CCed, people still wipe fast on EE with how much damage the eyes deal, and yes we try to kil lthem one at a time, but its still unavoidable to end up with loads of them.
I wish I had the same chance to get the items by farming the quest on my own on EH instead.

When mythics were introduced, a dev said EE drop rates might be in the neighbor hood as 10x greater than EH.
The post is out there somewhere, if you really want to find it :)

They previously stated mythic drop rates were 10x higher on EE than EH for U23. I don't know if U24 is different.

Sadly, from many reports, this appear to be untrue. I've seen many people claiming to get Mythics on EN far more than EE.
Besides, when you do an EE and you still pull the Epic version, it's really stupid. Not only you have to pull the right item, but then there is the chance of it being the Epic and not Mythic version. Such a stupid mechanic.

I haven't run EN much, but I've run an equal mix of EH and EE Orchard. I've seen several mythic items drop - all on EE. I haven't seen any mythics below EE or in the arc end reward list.

The old epic crowd seemed very fond of their super-rare RNG loot. And all the mythic stuff we're talking about also has an upgrade mechanic on it to keep you occupied a little longer too. So folks who liked that system should presumably be happier. I was never one of them, so I'm not sure.
Personally, I hate super rare RNG stuff. I'd much, much rather that you steadily progressed your way to an item regardless of the difficulty you ran on (but lower difficulties taking far longer is fine). So if you got your epic item and then could get (existing, not new!!!) mats and then upgrade it to a mythic one, and then upgraded the slots onto it... that would be absolutely fine with me.
Similarly, I would have been far happier with the normal/hard/elite loot versions they did a while back (which in principle I'm also in favour of) if there had been a way to progress normal or hard stuff up to elite by crafting, for instance. For the same reason I'm not at all against the principle of a mythic version, but I'd agree with you I'd rather it wasn't just a super rare version of something that might already (or even also!) drop in the same quest on the same difficulty.
Not that any of my opinion matters for mythic loot, since I doubt I'll be running any of the quests involved on Elite anytime soon anyway, and I don't actually like half the quests they drop in!

The mythic arcane armour isnt like the Necro stuff though, it just has an augment slot and thats it.
It just has and extra +1 int and con over the epic version, thats all. Hardly much of a thing to be bothered about over how rare it is over the epic version.

I like the mythic - it gives you something to farm for that isn't game-breaking, but highly desired.
Some of the same people complaining about mythics also complained loot was too easy to get previously. Make your mind up people lol.

Except that no one wants to join groups just to help other people farm for gear.
Why would it matter if the drop rate was the same on all difficulties?

I join guildy groups to help farm for gear all the time now that stuff is only transferable in the box. Maybe you need a nicer guild.
There needs to be some reason to distinguish elite as something to run beyond normal, hard or it's just a one time favor push. EE is sometimes for saga rewards, but for nonSaga quests like the new Xorian series, mythic gives a reason to push EE instead of the faster xp/completion on EH. We asked the devs for a reason to run EE and they gave us mythic drop rates.
Though I'd sort of like if they added a True Elite, tougher than EE setting, that gave guilds "sparkles or flare" when 60% of a group is from that guild. It would be even better if the True Elite quest window listed the top time for the True Elite quest run and which guild set it. We don't have PVP. But an integrated PVE guild "brag" would be fun. Plus drama. We need more drama. :)

I agree that EE should only drop the Mythic version if it drops it at all.
And for drop rates, think 1:10000 (can be bugged) for EN, 1:1000 for EH and 1:100 for EE.

If EE only dropped the mythic version instead of epic, it would be fine as you would get the item in a few runs.
'Join a nicer guild', yes because guildies should be expected to join me for over 9000 runs of a single quest just so I can get one mythic item?
You seem to think that you get one or two guild groups together and you get your mythic item, it doesn't work that way because the things never drop.
