Leveling Quarterstaves

Hey all,

I am leveling a Quarterstaff melle toon and I feel there aren't many quarterstaves to choose from when going from level 16 to 28.
I have Luminous Truth which is not bad and I know of Stave of the Seer. Other than that I can craft a Greensteel one.

What are good ones from 16 to 28? (not really interested in ML28 ones as I will TR when I hit that level)
Also how difficult are they to get? As this is to get a past life I am not interested in grinding forever for a QStaff, so easy-to-get ones are my main target.

Thunder Forged Quarterstaff is your best bet.

Upi dont have to grind forever to get one. 20 Thunder-Forged Dwarven Ingots can be brought in AH, and 15 Commendations of Valor which is about one epic quest on normal.

Thunder Forged Quarterstaff is your best bet.

My choices are
1-4 - Whatever you can find
4-8 - http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Chieftain%27s_Spear
8-12 - http://ddowiki.com/page/Theurgic_Stave - this works even further because of the crit profile. So in Epics, with LD, it holds its own
12-20 - Greensteel (specifically +5 Supreme Tyrant Green Steel Quarterstaff of Positive Energy - disruption, good burst, holy - great undead killer)
20-23 - http://ddowiki.com/page/Stout_Oak_Walking_Stick - still switch to Theurgic Stave for crits, but this is great with being alighed and the trup you can get
23-28 - http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Sireth,_Spear_of_the_Sky - prefer this over thunderforged (though I have one) because of the crit profile, which is greatly enhanced in LD

I forgot about the oak walking stick which is easy to get. a lot of the others you have to pull to get it. With my luck I have to run the quest 10 times before i get what I want.
